Collyland Aromatizer (formerly Vapbong by Art of Vapor)

According to google translate this page says these run at about 40W: https://www.art-of-vapor.com/de/infos/funktion-und-wirkungsweise/ This seems pretty high actually, I had been looking at these as maybe a replacement for my log vape at my computer desk, but that power consumption isn't nearly...

    Ed's WoodScents Log Vape - Ed's TnT

Looks cool Ed! With the standard woodscents I thought it was a bad idea to keep the unit upside down because the natural convection through the heater stops and can cause overheating. This unit looks like it's designed to stay inverted yes? Do you foresee this being an issue?

    Cheap High Quality Bubbler

I'm bad at picturing the usage of glass pieces, I ordered one for a vapor genie coil a while ago that didn't work out at all because of how close the joint is to the mouthpiece. Now I'm eyeing up this one, for use mainly with my woodscents, and I'm thinking it could have the same issue...

Life Saber (LSV) by Elev8 Vehicles

Troy at 420VapeZone made a very interesting modification to his SSV: He states he attempted this on the LSV but that he had lesser results... But then he backpedals on his explanation on why it didn't work and imo doesn't really satisfactorily put to bed the idea of doing this mod on the LSV...

    Underdog Log Vapes

Nice, based on the description on the post it sounds like just a 10mm ID glass tube would do the trick. I am currently running a thuya burl live edge woodscents, but very interested in hearing about progress on this! Good luck! And happy holidays to you as well!

    Underdog Log Vapes

So this was posted to Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/vaporents/comments/edf78g/underdog_with_a_omnivap_stem_custom_aluminum/ Have the underdog crew ever considered offering such an adapter for sale?

    VaporGenie

Think I'll experiment with this, the genie vapes beautifully up to a golden brown but when I try to push it I often combust. I wonder if a couple holes drilled into the flame intake would achieve the same thing :hmm:

    Ed's WoodScents Log Vape - Ed's TnT

I do worry about it honestly. I got the 3-24v supply from Amazon, which was a bit of a mistake. I never use the aroma cup and the 9-24v supply would be much easier to set and not be as sensitive to bumps. When I got it I was keeping rubber bands around it to hold down the knob, but I didn't...

    Ed's WoodScents Log Vape - Ed's TnT

So embarrassed that I posted this, my phone's keyboard doesn't work well on this forum :uhoh: Too scared is what I meant! Anyways, regarding my previous post about hard draws, I am finding that this may not make the difference I thought and that my improved vapor production may have come from...

Oooo just a standard good punch is needed? Do the screens fit snugly?

    Ed's WoodScents Log Vape - Ed's TnT

Had a slightly different experience with the woodscents this morning. I was running it on a VVPS with the wood wpa, condenser and ti tip+screen. I was using my usual settings if 13.1v with a verrrry slow draw. Slow enough that bubbles only come from the top perc hole. Got a nice dark brown...

    Vapman

Just put in for a basic pear vapman from vgoodiez, shipping to Canada. I heard of the vapman in something like 2012 and went with the launch box instead, and basically forgot about it. Then came the butane vape resurgence sometime after I purchased my Underdog, and now that I'm fully into a...

    TinyMight / TM 2

SS would warm up faster than say glass, but it will also dissipate faster. It will never be hotter than the air coming from the heater so it's not exactly correct to say that it would ever warm things up, it will have reduced effect however. The same goes for every vaping device I've ever used.

    TinyMight / TM 2

Yes honestly I'm a little confused, from the little detail I've seen, the cooling unit looks like a manufactured part already. Would love to see a teardown.

    TinyMight / TM 2

Oh dear, you mean to say the change is actually happening based on a couple speculative comments on FC? Maybe I'm making a bit of a no-win situation for the manufacturer, but honestly I'm a bit unimpressed that he would deliver an inferior product, late, because of a vocal minority. Wish he'd...

    Ed's WoodScents Log Vape - Ed's TnT

Yes :haw: I am lightweight AF. I just like keeping things functional, using micro loads ensured I never packed more than I was up for! Nope? Afaik mine is running to spec. Gives result in line with testing @LesPlenty showed off on the vapor asylum forums, I've been satisfied using my...

    Ed's WoodScents Log Vape - Ed's TnT

When I had my underdog I loved tossing in a couple crumbs of weed and doing one or two-hit extractions. I'd session like that with one micro-load after another, I liked getting consistent rips every time. With the woodscents I have been finding that I need to pack the bowl to get it to extract...

    Ed's WoodScents Log Vape - Ed's TnT

I have so say Ed that I think the heater upgrade will make this the undisputed King of Log Vapes, in looks and in performance! Although maybe look at draw restriction while you're at it ;) I've had some burning questions since you announced the planned upgrade: What's the change within the...

    VaporGenie

I wanted to come back and follow up on this post a bit. I am loving my bronze sherlock. I definitely still notice a smell, but I don't find it particularly offensive at this time. I'm not sure if I have just got used to it, or maybe the bronze has just become more thoroughly 'seasoned'...
