Consider getting the Augusthaus custom coil for your 30mm to get more performance and enjoyment out of it. On the 20mm, the barrel coil not only heats up the bottom, but the insert walls as well because of the way it wraps around on the bucket... I'm sure this goes a long way towards efficiently...

do you use 2 qtips at once to hold the sphere more in place while cleaning it hot after a dab? seems like you'd just be chasing it with 1 qtip around the insert and it being very difficult to clean the full round surface every time

I really hope I'm not gonna be dissapointed by the performance of the new sapphire insert... The website says they are "67 karats" which is 13.4 grams. I was just weighing my cracked sapphire and the back-up I'm using and they weigh 14.2 grams, or 71 karats. Both from late Dec'16/early Jan'17...

when i tipped the rig, water went up the liger vapor path and came out unto the sapphire. i watched the cracks form in front of my eyes as the water violently boiled off lol. They gave you a replacement with no hassle? Would I really quality?

having tried both the coojo caps and the modified chad bro terp trunk, i'd say the coojo with the small hole are a close 2nd as far as the best cap for the liger 30mm. they are well made, inexpensive, and the perfect size to provide a good seal. there were several drawbacks to the coojo cap...

seems interesting.... that's the flattest caps i've seen besides chad's. accomplished with an entirely different technique here i like to warm my carb cap up by placing it on the bucket before taking a dab... i wonder if that rubber would melt if I accidentally leave it heating up for too long...

it is indeed my opinion. but, the fact of the matter is, no other glass blower makes 'saucer' caps as consistently flat and wide across the base as chad bro does, which will give you a 100% seal on the liger (just that directional spout needs to point downward more). he explains his unique way...

I'm running the setup that's in my signature... I've tried "no nail" and "liger 30mm sapphire flat coil" in the equipment tab with "no nail" the temp swings are smaller, but still not the +/- 1 or 2 degrees that's normal on any other PID feeling very dissapointed with this thing to be honest...
