It can still matter... Why would you bother splitting hairs on how "much" it can fluctuate?? It can be a difference of someone having theirs at 6 and someone else needing to set it at 6.5 for the same result. What other variables do you think are responsible?

They aren't all going to work the same. The instructions say "start at 6". So they know it's goign to change based on your own particular resistance. This is why I think he just needs to turn it up, I've put a lot as well and still got huge clouds.

While the others are probably correct that you put a bit too much, I propose another theory. 5.5 is very low for my device, I woudl barely get visible vapor like this. But when I turn it up to 7 or 8, the clouds are MASSIVE, like jungle dnb MASSIVE. I'll get 2-3 hits at that temp then it dies...

Yes, I do this. The screen on the CF is just too loose and easy to mess up when you stir or do anything with the herb in the chamber. The extra screen is great for being the first catch and I can go at the herb with my pick and not move the screen like on the CF.

My beta unit did this. I think you are stuck in flower mode, might want to get the app loaded and try to set the temp manually. But this caused two of my atomizers to start on fire.
