There is definitely no official word on a new unit from Ghost...Yet... I've owned an MV1 since Feb this year. I had a stealth originally and functionally, it was awesome. I RMA'd mine due to the heat sink peeling. I swapped it for a stainless unit and had that until just before the BF sale...

@Raf That sounds scary like the time I got my oven locked into Jewish Holiday mode accidentally while I was cleaning the front. designed to make the oven unusable for 24 hours inorder to observe the Sabbath.. apparently. You would think just remember not to use the oven would be good...

When my MV1 edged it's way into my primary device position I was a 2-crucible per-session guy. I'm now quite happy with 1 unless I'm on a moon mission. Peese!

I guess I didn't ask my question properly. What I am wondering is how long can I wait to register my newest mv1, and can I effectively prolong the start of it's 5 year extended warranty by doing so? AND is there any risk of waiting too long and losing out on the extended warranty?

I was wondering about this... Specifically about the warranty and when it begins. That would make my decision much easier. Anybody know if warranty starts upon the completion of the order or upon the registration of the serial number? If the latter, how long can I wait to register it...

I store some buds with 62% boveda packs and and some with 58%'s. The 62's need to breath for 5-10 min after grind every time. The 58's are more forgiving. However, adjusting to an ultra loose crucible and higher temps can vape a moist batch if u don't have 5 min.
