The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

STOP! Don't DO that. I think the CCD type screen you are talking about is what is holding your zirconium balls in place. There are 80 or more balls behind that CCD like screen. They are what heats up and stays hot. You CAN remove them to check them out but don't lose them, they are small...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I often open my Tempest to determine whether the load is fully exhausted before I go for a second heat. If I see a heat ring, which I occasionally do, I may give it a stir before I put it back in the wand for my second go. Then again, I am a little compulsive about getting the most out of my herb.

I use the half bowl pretty exclusively, and it has stayed in place very well, but that could easily be because I've rarely moved it. I have also not taken it out to clean it as I clean the head (the few times I thought it necessary) by soaking it in iso.

 I don't think I'd call it ages. Actually, I'm a little surprised it cools off as quickly as it does. But clearly your desire to continue using it is a good reason to learn how to use it when it's already warm rather than trying to take it to room temperature before taking your next pass...

    Thermal Accumulator by phattpiggie

I haven't been paying attention to this device, partially because I thought that the TA was a prior project that had resulted in the Tempest just like the Resolve has. Phatpiggie's name on the Tempest project fooled me. Guess I need to keep an eye pointed in here as well...

I think that's the guy who was selling some nice ones on Etsy, especially some opaque glass ones. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1395265906/handmade-glass-14mm-wpa-for-dynavap-full

Sneaky Pete sells a three way, tho at the moment it is out of stock. https://www.sneakypetestore.com/collections/new-glass-for-dynavap/products/littlefinger-universal-dynavap-adapter?variant=32315953774673 I bought a similar one from AliExpress (maybe the same one) which will have a better...

Many don't and only some that do are properly calibrated. Accurate click disks and fully functional VIs are what we are all waiting on. While mine seems to work pretty well, I imagine the updated parts will work even better.

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I generally vape in a room that is not particularly bright, so I'm not really able to see the VI in the glass of the adapter very well. I could put a flashlight on it and be able to see it that way, but obviously that's a pain. I find that while I'm heating I can pull the Tempest out of the...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I wanted to mention that I got my Parchment style case from Labetkomp and it is just what I wanted. A stylish, heat resistant case that is very functional and looks great. I was tired of using the cardboard tube from my Revolve (tho it worked fine) and I didn't want to wait for the March release...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

For me, the Dynas tend to lean more towards conduction than convection. The Tempest, while it may have a little conduction going on, is almost exclusively convection. So in that way, I think it would be more like the TM which is all convection. That being said, again for me, The Tempest is a...
