I got some nice results with concentrates but didn't like any of the videos I took, tomorrow I'm free so I'll see if I can retry and this time include herb+oil and cotton+oil.
Have to say I prefer the Hammer and VapCap for concentrates, this was my first hit from the video. ....It doesn't seem...
I've mentioned it on the thread and its in the comments on some Hopper videos.
I will try a video that involves me talking. I'm not too into reviews as manufacturers bombard me with free units and now I just want to enjoy my collection.
Speaking of that..
My Dark Grey Hopper body #2 no longer seems to work, what an unfortunate experience. I tested it with my other backend and same result. My grey backend still works.
All vapes smell in use and the vapor definitely smells.
I'd say it smells most when a particulate falls down on the heater.
Otherwise a loaded capsule smells but the empty Firewood doesn't.
I was inhaling faster than normal for the Hopper and on the beginning UD hit. Hoppers like more airflow to the herb so I was trying to ensure it got it. Still need to find my technique on the unit.
I received mine, here is a quick test. Water test early on, then some usage with the UD and Hopper.
It did come with water in it, nothing seems crooked or cracked, seems flawless.
The water pipe usage didn't end up capturing as well since I had planned to use the bottle rocket but of course my previous take was interrupted by the door and a package. Wanting to use my new toy I tried it out but realized it would be better to just go with tried and true.
If you are curious...
Right, and its only out to reviewers/testers I believe. I will attempt a video today.
At the moment they need to fix a couple things on 3 before actual release imo. Unfortunately I won't recommend the 3 until I've had it for 6 months at least. I've seen too many failures on these.
I agree with Scott A. I'm personally not too impressed for the Solo but for 125 it's a unit I'd recommend if you want it easy and lengthy. It doesn't get me where I need to be but I haven't had any friends dislike it's ease or flavor..
But it does get better..
I personally prefer the Firewood...
I've only seen and heard of walnut holders does someone actually have one in a different wood and any chance for a pic if so?
EDIT:
If it matters I also have grown to do this on my Firewood. It just feels like the unit is more consistent afterwards but I'm sure its not making a big difference.
I agree with a water pipe for helping sooth the throat, also drinking tons of water; especially with warm water or on a candle/mug warmer. I like to inhale mint oil before my hit or suck on a mint like an Altoid during my session.
If one were to pick a MF product like the UFO; I highly suggest...
I agree it vapes as evenly as any other convection vape only leaving the furthest away herb a bit lightly vaped in comparison. I rarely feel the need to have to tap because I don't find it that uneven. Tapping is just trying to squeeze out that tiny last part of vapor or to prevent the .001 from...
My Firewood makes a clicking sound when in use. I like hearing it when using the Bottle Rocket. I normally have the Firewood almost touching my ear in usage.
Unfortunately I disagree (but its the level of extraction I go for (I start at 5)), to mix its a simple tap against a harder surface. Mixing/tapping is almost always required to get the herb touching the mouthpiece screen a bit darker. From 4 hits I have never had my herb entirely darkened even...
It wasn't a double click to start. Normally when I try to use a dead Hopper it doesn't even get to blue lights even when on the charger for 2-3 minutes. I was able to get some hits but that was on the first heat up as I walk outside (one hit then flashing red lights during) and then about 10...
I'll order some new batteries, but I've got six and I've gotten way more than 4 half hits from that battery yesterday. But maybe they've improved them over these months. Or mine has discharged a lot over these months of daily charging.
