I was just thinking that the joint looks awfully close to the mouth height, and once you mount something like a Solo on there, it will be very "in your face". Making it dewar could shave 1-2" off the joint height, so you're not eskimo kissing your vape every hit.

I see that the "Short" version is 17.75". Do you have any plans to make a shorter version? I usually prefer smaller pieces for vapor.

I was thinking it would be preferable to not be REQUIRED to use a screen. I intend to use a screen under ideal conditions no matter which stem I get, but I'd rather my vape not be useless in the event I don't have any screens.

I've seen people use a glass vial (like the one from the Eclipse (H2O?) products) and a glass eye dropper as a mouthpiece to make an oil unit. If you're looking for a commercial solution, look into something called the MicroDab, which is similar.
