Since the S4 debacle on FC i have emailed Ed 4 times and have had no replies...
Customer service?? Must be only when he feels a reply is required!
I have asked him about the issues discovered on FC and the almost Chernobyl experience of @biohacker !
Asked about how to ensure the controller is...
If it moved around that is bad news... Then the two tamp marks are strictly to hold the coil in place.
It should be a uniform tight, push fit for the coil and it should not be able to move at all once inserted.
With bad QC, there will be no consistency between units and temps will fluctuate...
Let's hope mine gets shipped on the 27th!
I will take some pictures and of course videos of it in action.
I also agree with @JCat and the whole fitment issue and temp ranges...
If it is not an intimate fit, there is too much heat loss to the air...
Wonder if it could be opened up carefully and...
Here is the small family!
S2 has a wooden body that encloses the heat tube. Each hit has a slight woody taste which is quite nice.

S3 internals
Wish Ed would have continued to incorporate the "Caution HOT" on the heat exchanger...
Nice built in temp readout!
What type of grind is everyone using with their Glass Symphony?
I tried 3 different grinders today, for science and the betterment of mankind of course!
On the line was my KannaStor Vape GR8TR with the fine plate, Lift grinder with the fine plate and my 2 piece Santa Cruz Shredder.
Different...
Noice!!!!
I had to make a typing stick for a paralyzed gentleman a long time ago and he found it easier to use if it was angled.
May help you out instead of being g directly above it.
Unless you pick up up by the board itself.
Now we just need a video!
This thread quietened down very quickly!
How many people have actually ordered and paid for their S4?
It's been a while and the only two i know of have been on this forum.
I am still excited to receive mine and have some ideas before it's first use!
1- plug in PID into GFCI and see how it...

I would also be interested in how to achieve a perfectly tapered hole for our GS to sit in!

I was also thinking of just buying a plain 24/40...
@NewVape420
I have tried a few glass bowls i had lying around, they worked with fairly good results.
Very dependent on an excellent seal.
Mesh screens that i can move up and down the bowls stem.
These were the worst option, way too temperature dependent.
EVO baskets are too long and do not...
Why not build your own controller??? $40 for the kit...

@Hippie Dickie Have you seen this DIY option yet?
No problemo!!
As i have mentioned in other threads, why not spend a bit more on a quality controller and the just rewire your XLR connectors to your controller pin outs?
I find i only use one vape at a time and it works perfectly for me.
Unfortunately there is no standardized pin out for XLR...
@NewVape420
I understand 100% as i always have, from a personal vaping view and that everyone is different and is entitled to their own opinion.
My point is and has been since the inception of this beast, that the EQ bowl is the most efficient way of micro dosing at the moment. It fits...
@Doktor Dub
The EQ basket remains in the bowls unless you push it out.
For me I drop some bud in the bowl and give it a shake to center it in the EQ bowl and away I go.
If it fell out all the time that would drive me nuts!
@Hogni
Since it is so powerful, I do not feel the 5mm difference at...
