Oh shoot, that's not good. As @Tinyvapelover said, I'm not sure how easy that would be to replace because of the fragility of the heater coil and ceramic rods that space it. Than again it may be easy, I'm haven't attempted removing the coil.
I would send Tinymight an email but make sure you...
I agree, it doesn't need to be cleaned like most grinders but once I did (after a year of use) I did notice it was a little easier to use. Clean or "dirty" they're still the easiest grinder to turn bar none.
I just ordered a DigiTi 18mm/injector stand/spare glass cover/Sphere from La Centrale Vapeur to be shipped to Canada! There's a 10% off coupon for FC members FC13LCV10 plus they threw in a free glass piece and the price was a little lower than going directly through Herbalizer. Holy hell I'm...
You can get a replacement here https://tinymightvape.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=60&product_id=72
Shipping on accessories is pretty slow unfortunately as they don't use DHL like they do for the devices themselves.
I had guessed that a Al/SS version wasn't working out (they originally mentioned stainless in the high use areas) so they were moving to an all stainless design but that is purely speculation on my part.
I hope it's a solid chunk of stainless and if the price isn't too ridiculous maybe even...
That looks like a lot more than what I would consider a microdose. I mean that's MY kind of microdose but I meant more like the tiny bowls some log owners will pack which are pretty much a few flakes. Is that second bowl smaller? In the last two pics the glass looks a little different. Someone...
.@snackmaster @Vaporware
Great advice, that did just the trick! I used my Elev8r pic to tighten it up a bit.
@Bad Dog
It'll microdose but there are other vapes better suited for the task imo. I think of it more like a ride on lawn mower for a typical suburban yard. That comes from the bowl size...
My Plusplusglass bowl came and it doesn't work :(, the top is too big so the Shovelhead doesn't fit over top. I'll see what the seller says but that's unfortuantely par for the course for my recent china glass purchases. I bought a different piece (bong base) from lumin88 that is absolute...
Someone mentioned jamming up their BCG recently and I nearly did the same last night in my XL. Granted I packed super dense, super sticky flower (some Sunset Sherbet) in every loading zone and I still was still able to turn but it took a LOT of effort. Every other grinder would have been fucked...
You can give a light tamp for sure to prevent flower from falling out. I have a little funnel that came with my Bowle that I've been using to fill most of my devices so I'm not typically tamping, plus I've gotten into the habit of holding my devices inverted so nothing falls towards the heater...
I don't tamp, pack as wide as deep, take a 10+ second draws and increase the temp from 4 to 10 (depending on the flower and stem/bong). I am never let down, good hits everytime. the harder I pull the Tinymight always keeps up. Check page 187 and look for the washer. If you have the right torx...
You're not comparing so i think it's ok. I think there are better companions, my reasoning being that the Bowle is a house portable so something more portable would be a lot different. A Tinymight for instance would be a stark contrast to the VB. Really though it depends more on your usage...
I was under the impression SiC acted more like glass (insulator) but you are right it does have higher thermal conductivity than stainless steel so it should cool faster. That goes against what I've read about using SiC balls instead of boro for better heat retention in ball vapes. I wonder if...
I've had the odd flecks fall off in mine and I'll hold the device upside down and scratch at it with my Elev8r pick tool which gets most of them out. If you have flecks that are really lodged in there I'd just keep using the device as normal and then try picking at it again in the future once...
I've been running my VROD at the same temp as you (315°C/600F°) with the SiC dish and carb cap and I just don't see how it could be any better. Flavour is the only area where the VROD could be marginally better imo which it can, slightly, with a glass bowl. Otherwise it means moving to a glass...
I came across a Reddit post (I don't have the link but I offer my thanks to the original poster) from a fellow 'Cano owner talking about how he rigged up some china glass to water filter the vapor between the device and bag. Basically a poor mans Obsidian. This piece is not a knockoff of the...
