I pretty much don't even pay attention to the cool down click. When I am reheating, I mostly pay attention to the visual indicator. The clicks work well heating from room temp. I don't yet have the final disks, so I can't say if that may change.

I was less concerned about it pulling heat away from the head than I was concerned that it would get very warm to the touch. That wouldn't have necessarily been a deal killer, but it was something that held me back. Yes, @ezpz , that is my primary concern.

I had the same concern that @btka had which kept me from considering this. Now I have to consider it again. I have a glass one that is similar, but it really doesn't sit tightly in the 18mm spot as it does not have a clean edge and it wobbles a bit. This should hold fine... I'm gonna look for...

I'm not really in the market for a grinder, but I have to admit, this is a little tempting. I might prefer it to be a little bigger. It's a little closer in size to the small BCG.

People who were willing to switch their raw titanium for a colored Tempest might have been able to jump the line. That's a bonus that Brenyo could offer that costs nothing. I don't know if you did that, but if you did that might be the reason you're getting it early.

There's a couple of craft vendors I've been having good luck with in the Chicago area. One is called the NEZ, and the other one is IC Collective. I have enjoyed the buzz I got from these guys. They tend to be a little pricey if you can't find them on sale.

I happen to really like wood stashes and have a couple for my VapCaps, one standard and one XL. I have a leather case for my Tempest I got from Duba, but I may need to get a wood stash at some point. ;)

Is there anyone who prefers the 3mm balls over the 2.5mm balls? It would seem to me that the 2.5mm balls would have more surface area touching the air flow so might heat it better but I wonder what users might have experienced.
