There's always log vapes!
Tiny, portable-size bowl- but speed and power of a desktop!
I recommend the E-Nano, as it comes with analog temp control
Not to be off topic..:p
It's inconceivable [to me] the amount of people I know; who still prefer smoking- even after fairly regularly using a...
This! I use wet/dry (usually 4-800 grit) for steel and glass fairly often; using it wet captures the majority of particulates created by the abrasion, reducing the risk of aerating little shards of death
plus- it's friggin precise!
Haha I literally just saw the Titan for around $55 and was going to suggest that!
Generally I've noted that we haven't really gotten too many portable electronic vapes below $100-120(usd) on the market right now.
The first things that come to my mind when thinking of budget vapes are the...
Ha my :2c: is on the quality as well!
I've got some clumsy friends
and of course nobody's infallible..
I remember what sold me on it- a story somewhere in this thread about their solo tumbling off a balcony 10~15ft onto rocks while on and loaded- and aside from a scratch or two, it was...
Personally I like to goop the melty stuff about 1/3 to 1/2 up from the bottom (when standing up in the solo)- my reasoning being it'll sponge into the herb as it heats up (and inevitably boils off); and that when it's upside down, I imagine the melted mixture would want to get sucked out with...
Yeah the Crafty bowl is almost the same width as the Solo/Air crucible, you could probably even use one of the stems in it...
On the subject of flavor, I feel as though the user's temperature preferences on both vapes can affect the length of time flavor keeps coming- especially since some units...
You know- my old broken heat gun would have been glorious for this with minimal effort (ATX power supply+a couple threaded couplings, mason jar, and solo)
I've been watching this thread for a while, and have been wondering if the heater would work in Temp Control mode? Or does it expand/contract too much?
It'd be pretty baller if we could run.. say a Sigelei 120 TC @ 60-70W, and attempts to hold that heat- especially considering the beautifully...
Haha I come back every couple hours in the hopes that we get info on price, materials, etc.
Like a couple have already noted- looks sweet! First unit since the S&B portables to catch my eye.
I'm just hoping for a session or 2 more from the battery; pretty much everything but the Solo...
vap+mini(manual)=no-go
(ezmode with other people in the car with me of course)
edit: So glad I live in Michigan, it seems the drivers here are a cut above the rest (although there're still tons of morons)
I had a guy facing me in my lane while I was on the outside right passing lane in...
These are the 2 I've been using lately- if I'm not feeling one, the other gets me there for sure.
The Solo is easy and works great for a good number of draws. The Nano (how I set it up) gives me 2 or 3 absurdly thick plumes (often 1 load is good enough); and I'd say 3 loads total around the same...
Awesome looking unit!
I've only wondered how a chamber in that style could be implemented, I like it a lot- super sci-fi
edit: @srama21 it looks like the mouthpiece is silicone and the path is stainless.. but of course it could be any number of alloys- I was wondering the same
In a nice hilly wooded area with a couple friends perched on a fallen tree; though I don't really mind, as long as I've got a couple buddies to chat/chill with
I personally find the EQ to be a splendid contender if you want bags- and it's no wimp with whip mode either.
You can also get the Volcano's EZvalve GonG adapter, a DDave kit, and buy a replacement EZValve bag on ebay to open up that airflow and upgrade quite nicely to a solid inline valve...
A buddy and I picked up an EQ off another awesome FC member; let's just say that now I use my Solo around once a week haha ( I have 0 need for portability)
Edit- the Solo is more of a hybrid conduction/convection vape than it is pure conduction; so airflow heavily effects the heat flow through...
Haha I agree; it's a big turn-off for a lot of people, just like how WoW is all endgame.
I'd love to play D3 more, but i'm just too damn scared to lose another level 40+ because I'm vaked
(normal characters are for babies )
More on topic, I've been playing the Dark Souls games...
