I have said the same thing, they're probably fine tuning the painting process (anodizing) nothing more. Everyones goin nuts for the "new finish" they might have more than one anodizing company, two different companies would have two different finishes unless they were giving each other notes on...
did they not ask you to return the old one? Pretty cool they're doing that (FUCK IT SEND HIM A NEW ONE!) theres probably not much they can reuse on these any way.
I bite the end of it while its wrapped in my shirt or a facecloth, I twist it as I pull and it comes out easier, some pieces are a bit more stuck than others, I have had ones that put up no fight at all and come right out with out any effort.
I have the exact same problem sometimes, It happens with the sensor, I am not exactly sure how to fix it, It happens mostly as a sign it's dirty, but if I let it happen persistently Its tougher to fix, and sometimes will not fix its self by cleaning first try. I just clean my latch really...
I'll make a video with just the important stuff if you guys want, I caved and bought a gorilla pod so I can do it myself now. I am open for suggestions if you guys want to make a collaborative effort on making a proper guide
some one suggested sugru, but I think that stuffs unsafe, it warns that children will want to play with it but to keep them out of reach. "Kids love sugru - it's just like play dough when it comes out of the pack - but it's not certified as child safe, so it shouldn't be used by children."...
Are you fucking serious? I never actually read that instruction guide as I read it here first and never bothered. That is insane and I would never put the lube on the inside of the stem or suggest it to any one.
edit- Ohhhh inside the stem of the mouthpiece, I was confusing this for the downstem...
Thats the first thing I said about the lube, that someone would inevitably smoke it even though its on the outside of the downstem.
I used lube last night on my old model, the first application did nothing, so I relapplied, I thought about it and it makes more sense to put lube in that bottom...
Its definitely finicky, I use lube on the end of a pipe cleaner to give it a bit of a boost in how long it runs with out problems. I actually before reading any of this just got back from buying those fuzzy dental picks as one of mine is starting to become stubborn. If you hold the...
just got back from my second show with a pax! duel weilding pax in boston! :D  The show was sold out and I waited around for about 20 minutes until someone gave me a ticket, blazed two full ovens and thought I was slick, two bouncers outside yell at the group of people waiting outside...
mine goes away about 90% in the first 2 minutes. after that depending on how thick the vapor is coming off of it I let that determine how much longer I let it run. I have had it go for a while, didnt officially time it but it probably took 20 or more minutes. cap it to let that heat build up...
well either way, I see it every single time I clean it too, 90% of it goes away by running party mode. every model I have owned (except for the first one) I have run on high for 10-15 minutes before using it (I do this with brand new screens too) with my thought process being that its killing...
I noticed this at first too, I leave it for about 5 minutes partymode high after I clean it to help rid excess, I think its part what Pakalolo said, and just moisture from maybe alcohol/resin that worked its way into that tiny seam at the top of the oven where it meats the black plastic top. Its...
well thats why I asked, because the method I am talking about doesn't use the notches at all, thats why I considered it a work around for your specific case. it uses the force of itself flexing to keep it locked in place at the bottom of the oven, you could really set it any height you want but...
You have tried bending them upwards like a lowercase n instead of down like a lowercase u? I cant imagine these poping out, they literally lock in there, after the session i just had, I found you can futher lock them in by pushing down firm on the side that the hole isnt on, it doesnt have a gap...
