I think your grind may be the culprit. No grind and subsequent mixing, breaking up with toothpick, or a medium handgrind works well for me in making the unit not so hard to clean. I do still use an ethanol qtip once a session to clean the channels and plates.
I tend to go for 4-5 inhalations...
I have a small (3inch) plastic spray bottle filled with 95% ethanol. I put a cue tip head up the the nozzle and pump to wet the tip. I use that to clean the insides of the FF and by the time I am done wiping the alcohol is basically gone. I wait maybe 30 seconds and proceed on to the next vape.
I like to do this as well. It makes sure the vapor channels around the bowl are as open as they should be and it makes sure that residue on the lid and the base do not prevent a perfect seal. It also prevents material from coming back to your mouth. Of course I am saving every cue tip head for...
I also have a great idea for the FF2 or just a new lid for FF1. Make a metal pic for the FF that is flat with rounded edges. Make a small indentation in the FF lid, in between where the two vapor channels go. ( I think the magnets are there also.) now you would have a pick that would go with...
I feel like Hoyo is right. I have been using less per buzz but I like the unit so much that I have been partaking more than usual. I have started calling my FF a "space coffin" because it looks like a coffin or suspended animation device used in a sci-fi movie, it sends me to space, and...
Crazy but I dont get that problem at all. I guess I do have long nails for a guy, not super long just a mm or so of free nail and I can remove the battery easily. The scotch tape is a nice hack though.
I agree, I have found my personal combo of rough finger grind directly into FF works for me. Draw is easy and clouds good. My ABV container is rapidly filling.
I prefer a nice tan ABV, I don't like to get it too dark, the flavor is not as nice. But I also love that I can hit it and make sure to...
No guarantee but if you call or chat the firefly website they were still honoring the pro package for 299 which includes an extra battery and charger. At some point they are going to cut that but you may still get in there. Sarah C. is just the best that cs has to offer.
I have started breaking a whole flower into two or 3 pieces as I put it in the glass bowl. It is a good compromise for me and works well. I keep a set of cue tips and some moonshine on my night table to clean the glass and air ports around the porthole.
Had a friend over who owns a volcano and...

especially if you sandwich it between two pieces of green. the bubble will absorb into the green and you are good to go. I should have some in the next 2 wks, will report.
If I wanted every last drop I would:
1. Go with a medium grind like the old school straight round post grinders
2. Stir after each draw to prevent localized dark spots
3. Draw semi quickl, too slow and it will char.
4. Press the button right before draw. If you warm it up then you may get dark...
I am going to support vorrange here. As we know flowers take many forms. If you have a really dense flower this method is just not going to work. But some of us like the looser strains that are known for their lose flower structure. In my case they are dry and will crumble if I try to manipulate...
For me it seems that it would be very hard to draw too fast. I find if I don't think about going slow or fast the right speed just happens automatically. Someone said to do it like you were "drinking from a straw." That sounds about correct. On occasion when I have pulled a slower draw I also...
