Yep, inhaling that would be bad. Glad you took it the way I meant. All kidding aside, we wouldn't be doing this, if it was unsafe in any way. Still striving to make the safest and best vape we can. And certainly wouldn't want to bring toxins into my house or shop either. I handle this...

Reece writes,"Does this mean, there is an effect at higher temperatures?" That cracked Pammy up, she said, "I wish they could see your face when they ask stuff like that."  I'm sure there would be at a high enough temp. ie. high enough to melt the steel and it's oxidized...

H2SO4 = Sulfuric Acid ... That's a Sulfur atom surrounded by Oxygen with a couple of Hydrogen atoms hanging off the Oxygen. Not very scary stuff unless you stick an un-gloved hand into a highly concentrated beaker of it. Since we wash all our metal parts, manufacture residue is eliminated...

 Shark Week. I remember it, but had no idea it was on now. The concept/ name/ idea was probably triggered by a recent discussion of seal, salmon and sharks up the local rivers. (As we don't watch television).

There aren't 'new' PDs. The materials change in the HE is extremely minor. The fin material is switching from 316 Stainless to 304 Stainless. So now all the HE is 100% 304 Stainless. No need to explain two alloys... The change has already been made. The fin components we are now using are...

    Thanks everybody. ;) Looks good. 12V @ 1A (1000mA) and a 2.1 x 5.5mm plug.

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

Dave, it's a 12 volt battery. Lead/Acid (sealed). Just like a car battery. Down the bottom it lists the regulated 12V as over 2 amps so given the right plug end it should be fine. Two pounds though. And unregulated (as is). Didn't read the whole schpeel. OUT OF STOCK... :uhoh: New things on the...

I follow (sorta) High Altitude climbing. There is lots of tragic stories. And once in a while a funny one. This one from GII http://www.mounteverest.net/news.php?id=18543 Apparently the Iranians stopped about 50m from the summit, as the summit ridge was sharp and dangerous, and they did not...

Hey Joe, First question is: is the power supply faulty or the plug and cord (on the original). 98% that it's the plug or cord and the power supply is working fine. In that case you can replace the plug end. Second, unregulated power supplies will vary in voltage. Higher voltage means higher...

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

One of Pammy's good friends owns a shop where the Billy Bowls are made. They make lots of wooden items for gift shops up and down the coast, and also make collection plates and other items for the religious market. Really nice stuff. We get our bowls unfinished (special order) then do the...

Yes, indeed. :) And at molecular levels at > boiling temps there may be little difference between the two. We are showing our geekiness. :D

Pseudo says, "Water (or solid/frozen water -- ice) does not, as far as I know." Uhh, go hang a wet shirt on the line in sub-zero weather, it will freeze solid, come back in a week or two and it is dry, that is sublimation. I gave 'frozen water' as an example of sublimation because not so many...

Thanks HighEnd. :) The PD is made to run on 12 Volts. Cars are 12.8 Volts to just under 14 with the alternator cranking. This gets the unit as hot as it is made to withstand (and pretty well at the high end of good vapor, close to too hot). Higher Voltages will equal higher temps, but past a...

Still using 1/2" #5 PP rod. Just the very end is shaped a bit different. But the same diameter and material as always. Maaan, 6 weeks, too long. Glad you are back in clouds, Jeff. ;) Yep, lousy Doctors or uncaring Doctors or overworked Doctors... But this was different, a scam. And it was a...

    Purple-Days availability

The purple leather used to have a stamp with our logo and URL but after the authorities grabbed a PD or two we decided to go stealthy, no name or other identifiers on the unit or bags.

Pseudonymous, why would you think there is no liquid phase? I don't believe this is true at all. CO2 sublimates, frozen water sublimates. But trichromes go from a solid state to a boiling liquid, then vapor.

I was gone all day yesterday. I've never really trusted Doctors, 'Here are some pills, they should work...". But till yesterday, I had never caught one in an outright LIE. Well I did. And it was a lie for profit. :/  IAmKrazy2, welcome to the family, glad you are enjoying. :) The logo on...
