@tgvp
Halogen heating can be good for a session vaporizer. But for an on demand vape it is inefficient and slow.
I dont know how a heating element can be boring…i dont know why any material can be boring 🤣
The tinymighty has a heating spiral as heating element and works great. A lot of devices...
I think the concept is great. It is to have a “tinymight-style” on demand vape, with the ability to produce good clouds with good flavor in a short time but more standardized for a "commercial market". However, it is a general definition, lets see how it evolves.
Looking to the Angus, I trust...
I think you will like it. Adjustable timer and heighr, 2x18650, armored cap compatible….but! It is bigger.
in case you wan to repair the yllvape ih you can try to open it, buy the same batteries (the exact name was in this thread) and go to a local electrician
I’m from Europe and i would like to have an adapter for my grasshopper-hopper io. I wish someone who have the adapter but broke the hopper would like to sell it (and maybe the broken hopper, I would be interested in that too).
After try the stunner i see a usual cleaning of the balls container isn’t needed. I just cleaned it a lot when i combusted (more times I would like…) but in a regulated device like the tempest i think it will keep clean a loooot of time.
But maybe @Brenyo or @phattpiggie can tell their...
The bottom. I will tell more when the prototyping progresses a little. Right now there is nothing certain. (See what happened with the angus DT. They restarted the design process because it didn’t work well)
Right now it is all glass except the heater, would be no possible to get a fast heating for the on demand with a bak-like heating style. (And the bak is almost full glass…the only part of the path with wood is the top, the air intake, but it is minimal).
But they need to do dropping tests (like...
I made the mistake in the Yllih thread of saying an approximate date and it was quite late 🤣 I'm not going to make that mistake again (as far as possible)
Ps: it is ready to buy now xd
@Nina did you try to talk with the store? I dont know if the device is still in warranty but maybe they can help you.
If not, i dont know if you could talk with yllvape on instagram, but i’m sure the responsibility for the warranty lies with the store
I’m waiting for the final version right now to arrive (that’s why I didn’t post more info about the beta). And i will get a tempest when the big time comes.
I also have a wand so i can compare both with the tempest :D
After playing more with the convector i see it is easier if you don’t try to make a one hit.
I like to use it more with small torches since i see no sense on use a super big torch with a tiny and fast device. If you want a faster heat up to can use a triple flame. And due to the fast heating...
