I am going to pick up one of those TAG 18 to 14 bowls. with all of these bowls I put a screen in the frosted (or occasionally unfrosted) joint itself. I have found that I get the best results when the load is only a few mm from the bottom of the heater. I think that elev8r, qaroma and most of...
I can see why there is confusion. if you look at the qaromashop website there are some pics that show a counterclockwise coil, but most show a clockwise coil. they should probably fix those pics if their coils are all clockwise (like CH)
Guys they’ve updated the miniVAP multiple times already. I think there were even tweaks made in 2021. It keeps getting incrementally better but the vapor quality has been a constant. Biggest difference in the new units by far is quicker heat up time.
I once asked Jorge directly if he was...
Years ago, I pitted the miniVAP against the Evo in single combat back when the Evo was undisputed king at my house (like 2014 or so I think). The results shocked me. The match was an upset. Vapor quality is my #1 priority. Still using the mV daily after all these years.
pro tip: use the ac...
I'm enjoying dog walks with this little guy. flavor not the best but it's acceptable all things considered. I'm trying to come up with a solution to cover the mouthpiece AND the intake holes. since we can't get under the bowl for cleaning, we don't want pocket lint/dust getting in the intakes
Sounds like there may be some variance with these units. My AVB is getting milk chocolate brown at 375*F with reasonably long and steady (hello convection) draws. Really happy with this device so far. Seems like a solid pocket portable option.
wow the flexicone is definitely my new/current favorite way to use the highlighter. Flexicone basket module installed in a j hook. Highlighter pointing up, flip the j hook upside down, come in for the landing, take a rip, lift off and set it down. Vapman station vibes, sorta. Same way I used...
looks like the HLT will probably also work with the miniVAP flexicone+basket. I'll give it a shot tonight
edit: yep, works great. give it a try if you've got em
It's taken me a while to comment in here, mostly because I wanted time to get this thing set up and dialed so I could provide fair and honest feedback. first of all  big ups to @RedEyeFlightControl for putting the parts list out there. unheard of in the industry and hugely...
they've always given off the tech startup vibe. I'm not at all surprised at the vague communications.
but the Bowle works great. IDK, I think people just get too emotionally invested in the consumer products they spend their money on. it's weird as shit to me. buying something doesn't make...
Man I don’t need to see these kinds of posts. I’ve been holding the line on the TM, quite heroically I would say. Something happened recently that caused me to falter… at this point resisting this purchase only through sheer tyranny of will :worms:
I think VAS is for life. It can go into...
right, I think I recall that now. thank you. I bet I could remove the finish pretty easily if that's what's wearing off. hit it with some flitz and make it shine. IDK might give it a shot one of these nights
this is going to vary almost entirely based on the quality of your material. and...
my Bowle has still been running great since I got it last Spring 🙏 No drama. I've just accepted that I only get 3-4 bowls out of a charge. I mostly use it at home so charging it isn't an issue. It's not ideal though. A device at this price point should have more battery capacity.
I just...
it's many pages back in this thread, but that's exactly what the problem with my first power supply was. the wiring into the DC barrel connector on the power supply side was dodgy as all shit... I believe these power supplies are bottom of the barrel with poor QC
long story short I changed out...
ice cold power supply might actually be no bueno. mine run warm when working properly.
I would definitely try a new power supply before shipping to Europe. I had issues with my original power supply that caused my VB to not heat up. sorted that out and I've been cruising ever since.
