I upgraded to a Mighty, so I can't help you with how they resolve it, but they accepted my button issue as warranty without hesitation. I haven't heard of a lot of button issues in either thread, but not one I've heard of has been denied warranty.

It seems the power button on both the Crafty and the Mighty have this problem. My second Crafty died that way with 64 hrs on it. Replacement Mighty can be picked up today after 9:30am, I'm pretty excited.

The MuzzMod is just that, a modification. You use your existing cu to fashion a water pipe adapter. I've seen a number of tutorials, some are pretty close to Muzz's directions even!

IMO, no if you can afford a new one with full warranty. If you can't, then it's a fair price compared to others I've seen sold.
