I think it has a 100w bulb, but it is designed to draw 50W. They changed the 50W bulb for a 100w to extend the life if the bulb and get better battery life. Even if they add a super usbC port which holds 50-70W it would be more expensive. Some makers told me the same

Actually the convector and the tempest are a great combo, one is super fast for one/two hits and the other retains the heat very well and gives you a lot of top hits
