No! You can go move the controller wherever you want. There are no steps! Need to take this to the manual. you are not the first one asking this. One full step is ca. 15°C

Here is a shitty picture of a glas stem prototyp im currently testing. The glas part can get pulled out a bit, to add the cooling pads between glas and herb chamber. How you like it?

The smell will go away over some time. The natural oil/wax mixture is not used inside the airpath. You shouldn't let the mouthpiece sit on top of the log. Please send me a picture of the mouthpiece, so i can help you out.

On the magnets, I pin my temp controller on the side of my freezer im vaping on. or use the adhesive pad to fix the temp controller under your table. You can even put the log on a wall and just take hits from the wall. but dont let it unattended this way.

The 14mm bowl is available in the shop already :) I have a concept for an glas/wood mouthpiece where you can still use pads, will post when i have a prototype. In the meantime, you can take an normal 14mm glastube 10mm inner diameter 13mm outer diameter. and install the herbchamber on top...

We will bring back the budget version with a plastic controller. Price will be under 300€. But were very busy atm.

Working on it. The log should work, i test all my units. As seen in the perfectly taken pictures it got a color change on the tip from testing. I don't think it got damaged from shipping. Should be a cable/power source problem. No panic, we will avoid sending out untested cables/power sources...
