I got a fractal walnut jr and it’s a pleasure to look at every use. I’m usually pretty boring and thought I wouldn’t like it after I got over it, but it’s still cool every time.
I’m a huge pike fisherman, walleye and crappie as well. Musky when I have the time. My favorite fishing is kayak fishing in secluded lakes or mine pits. Also spear pike and ice fish. The lake by my house is now frozen. Just gunna let it thicken you before I go out. Caught my PB bass this year...
@BrianTL yeah they ss stem has been rock solid for me especially when loading the basket screen not even halfway. I’m usually too busy for a session so having one or two quick rips and being in my way has been a blessing. I might put down a certain capped vaped and grab my MFLB for those while...
I need to be reminded to order more thick glass stems. My dog swiped my only one with his tail about a month ago after I got him all wound up and excited. Luckily he didn’t get any glass in his paws.. I’ve been really content with the ss stem though.

Just broke one of my original inserts, was a substantial drop though, and minimal material had to be tossed out. Still loving every single one of my Jyarz. Hope Aldo is doing well!
I love the long stainless stems, I’ve found that I can get pretty chopped by barely covering the screen and getting one good rip and then I’m good for around 3-4 hours.
ETA-yeah I’m a lightweight now. But it’s not a bad thing.
Jesus, came to check in on the dogpack. I’ll pretend I didn’t see this page of the thread, and continue using my FYT-dog while my doggo waits to go for our walk.
Looking for more of the older wooden midsections. I’d really appreciate it if someone had some they wouldn’t mind selling. I don’t care for the newer ones. And yes I know my dude Ed is an option, but it’s just not the same to me.
Home Depot has jigs that will line up the leg with the table and keep it square while you pre drill your holes and screw them in. We had to do a similar project in our garage for a shelving unit that wouldn’t have fit if it was premade (odd sized) and the jig helped a lot more than I would have...
