If the Pp is going to be powerful enough to use through water (I hope so!?) then I'd like a short 18mm male GONG stem to fit into my DO20.
I'm unsure about the 'window' idea too.
Maybe a drawing or mockup would help to explain /sell the idea?
SPEAKING UP!
A very simple round 'puck' with a hole drilled along the axis and threaded to fit bolts or whatever would allow the use of a ceramic heater from the likes of Hakko to be inserted into the hole without compromising the strength of the puck.
Another small hole drilled radially...
The use of halogen would have me excited on it's own, so the other features seen here make this the vape I most want, my Grasshopper pre-order is trembling in fear
I wish you the greatest of success Ville!
It sounds great to me!
A person could spend an entire evening puffing away on their vape whilst getting slowly medicated.
As opposed to flatlining on a single hit.
I gave up smoking 20 years ago, but blowing clouds still holds great appeal to me :-)
Edit:
As long as it tastes good!
I'm interested too!
I already have 2 60 watt solder stations, and a vise.
Do the materials you're using have particular advantages over others?
Or are they just the best materials for the task that you have availabe to you?
(please don't think that I'm questioning the choice. Just seeking...
Since silicone is usually intended to NOT stick to product, maybe a stickier dabber (ti or SS?) that already has some sticky residue from previous use might be helpful in this instance?
Something with a flat end that won't scratch your pan coating.
Maybe put plates in freezer briefly before...
I asked a very similar question here too.
Sadly no one replied.
Or rather, no one replied to say that they'd actually tried it and got good or bad results.
How about avoiding the use of PTFE or silicone in high pressure/low temp' presses altogether by replacing parchment with two very thin pieces of stainless steel sheet.
These could be pre-heated simply (e.g. mug of boiled water)
Terp's and other delicate actives in the rosin could be preserved...
Thanks for this info n00b.
The new battery cover sounds interesting
I REALLY hope this works out for Villekille, and that the PP is a success, as the combo of a halogen heater, big glass airpath and knockout aesthetics is really doing it for me
Ha! Thanks man, it never even occurred to me to buy some trim for this purpose.
I'll do that.
I wonder if the clouds are any good?
Any ideas for diluting concentrates? (I know it seems ass backwards to do this, but I love the taste, and I love dabbing, but a dab big enough to get a decent cloud...
Do pepper grinders generally provide a decent result with herb?
If they do then this looks ideal, I wouldn't even mind if I had to pre grind.
$25 is a tolerable price too.
It might work well for my Inhalater too.
Well, thanks for the suggestion, and I've been trying it (dried lemongrass) out since you suggested, and find that although it works to help fill a stem (Inhalater 05) it doesn't produce much in the way of vapour.
It tastes ok, and the cost is negligible, but I'd rather have clouds!
It may be...
Well, if these are genuine risks then I feel a lot less enthusiastic about the laser idea.
Completing a risk assessment is not my idea of a good way to enjoy being high.
Porcelain can be black as well as white.
So perhaps a laser with a tip/cover made of black porcelain would heat up enough to...
Ok, so a couple of months ago I managed to get hold of some concentrate for the first time (I have a 33 year 420 background, but had only tried oil smeared on papers/hotknifed before).
I was impressed with the results from a Titanium honey bucket, but not so keen on the noisy torch.
So I got...
My intention would be to use it the same way I currently use my Inhalater/WPA (WPA courtesy of ShayWhiteGrow, thanks bro!).
That is to turn the unit off near the end of a hit, and simply lift the unit off the glass while still pulling to clear the bong.
So no real risk of overdoing things...
Thanks to those who attempted to answer my query :)
Sorry, but do you mean that a GH without the silicone mouth piece just falls in, or does it do this even with the mouth piece fitted?
Either way, it's good that it will fit in, as that paves the way for someone to market a proper adapter that...
