Not sure,
Wanna buy a bridge? The heaters in any vape we use do not get hot enough to pose any threat. And only in the crappiest, most poorly constructed fans. But if you really want a bridge I got one for you.
I got your old school right here. How about some Gentle Giant.

And how about some Genesis when they were still Genesis...
Foster,
Don't pack, load it loosely. You know you got it right when you taste the vapor. Try gently inhaling 3-5 seconds with flame 1-2 seconds without, repeat 2-3 times. Should get monster hits.
Not to split hairs, the VT and the E v 3.0 always had the same chassis. The difference between the two is the additional functionality built into the E. The VT you point to on the Arizer site is the same as was offered pre EQ.
The VT has no fan and is not bag capable. It also may not come with a remote. It actually is more similar to E v 3.0, still a very solid vape for whip only use.
A further improvement to the pa not yet mentioned would be detents to the thumb wheel. About every 10 degrees would be about right. It would make repeatable settings easier.
I have also started gently tamping trenches with my finger to maximize herb to screen contact. Repeat after a few hits...

A good choice for a 1st vape is the VG bat. It hits like a truck, herb tastes great, can be easily cleaned with the solvent of your choice, can easily be carried in your pocket and is damn near indestructible.
You will have to wait. At least earlier today bats were out of stock. By all means get one when available. I love mine and will get the ss bat once available. Do not get the hempwick. The entire concept of getting something you need a lighter to light so you can use the vg strikes me as stupid...
Steiner,
Do you ever buy from Microcenter? I have gotten fair prices from them in the past. Also It sure is nice no longer having to deal with jumper settings (recently got a new computer, the last one died after six years).
