Now that you're hooked, you have to read this whole thread, it's only 54 pages, I can't remember all the user best practices in here, such as how to use that carb hole correctly.
First advice. Daisy provides visual feedback, but you have to look down onto the glass neck, when the whistle goes...
Ed is still working on the video, I will post link when he gets back to me with his approval.
He has cautioned me not to use my Supreme without the sleeve as legally this is not approved use and is too risky to go dangerously overtemp, which he specified as 460f/237c . So if I do so based on...
Ed just sent me an email with more detailed instructions on replacing the sleeve. He is also going to make a video for me. I will ask him if I can share both here and post them when I hear back, I'm sure this will be helpful for other Supreme owners.
My temporary hack is doing fine, so I will...
Historic performance becomes increasingly relevant when it is consistent. I think they have been very consistently hitting 12-15 months lead time to address confirmation since they started shipping with very little improvement. The info they put in the updates partially obscures this...
By available real world data I can estimate that the current lead time for getting an address confirmation is approximately 15 months. My March 2015 pre-order should be fulfilled sometime this June-July-August. I wouldn't be surprised if they beat that OR they delayed it further again, but...
3 times in the last year I thought that they would be close to ramping up and actually shipping at an increased pace. I'm not falling for a 4th time and feel really stupid about the first 3. It's the opposite of Boy Who Cried Wolf. It's the "Boy Who Cried Thousands per Week Throughput".
I dunno, I keep flame on the part of the block that is furthest away from that part of the Supreme, but regardless, it gets wicked hot all over this thing, the block and the tube no matter where you heat it.
I would try to replace it, but when I was trying to remove the heater tube from the...
The biggest tradeoff for more power in the bulb seems to be battery life.
It was mentioned on this thread that the bulbs are user replaceable, but the bigger your hands/fingers, the harder it is to replace.
Ha ha ha...I feel exactly the opposite when it comes to a Dan Morrison project. The result can only be incredible in his hands. Even a failure would be spectacular and better than most other's successes.
Thank you LL! this gave me the idea to bend the end of my sensor so that it touches the tube and stays put with a little bit of tension. It can come loose but stays put during stationary heatup. The temp fluctuation is still a bit off from what it was before but now I don't have to hold the...
I seriously love the Supreme 3...seriously...but I have ONE major complaint, the temp sensor design. If you've followed my posts in this thread you know mine comes loose very easily, it is small and hard to see when this happens, the result is way off temperature readings and way overheating of...
@nosmoking I use small whole nugs picked off a larger cola and stuff them tight into my Woody Ti VapCap. I rarely grind now for any of my vapes. They are stuffed so tight in the VC that I have to blow it out into the trash like a spitball or use the digger outer (I'm also saving much less abv...
I'm sure a less fancy solution is possible? Of course, George is too busy manufacturing, shipping and innovating, but tbh I find all the new stuff coming out just a hair bit confusing.
I would love to see a website tool where I can rotate the different interchangeable VapCap modules and see what all the options look like and what fits with what. You know like those things where you make a different face by rotating in/out different eyes, hats, mouths, etc. A VapCap...
