I just tried the S3 with my tool but no water. Well, very nice, definitely a differently pronounced effect and flavor, was not harsh on my throat at all although I found no water a little awkward just because I'm not used to it (no cool bubbling sound plus I think water movement adds to the...
Got home about 40 minutes ago, walk in the door and the power goes out. Fall is near, days getting shorter, it's starting to get dark out.
Thankfully my precious Supreme uses a different kind of juice than electricity and makes staring into the darkness a bit more palatable.
I insert after...
This thread sucks for those trying to resist VAS.
Otherwise all this info, pics and user reports are phenometastic...

Hope I get to join the fp club eventually, oh well back to my supreme, oh woe is me...

I think I might try this with my Versa Infinity bowls, will be interesting to see how they differ as before the Supreme my Infinity was my DD and hardest hitter and it's standard usage was much like you describe here, strong convention airflow into a bowl situated outside the heat source.

The Big Shot was my 2nd choice, but you're right, I like to go hands free (I am very careful, no problems yet), plus it looked like the big shot would consume more butane, that was my rationale anyways. But I'm sure it heats the Supreme much faster. It always boils down to the tradeoffs...
