The CFC does not screw in. The mouth piece slides on top of the oven. I am sorry I don't know of the oven ring you are talking about. The extra screen is larger. I read that someone could not fit it in. I guess it could be trimmed. Wish Boundless would have mentioned it in there video.

I don't see any oven ring. When mouth piece is slid on and the bowl empty the screen rattles. I read people complaining when emptying abv screen falls out.
