Yeah, I don’t really get why Marc didn’t just leave an extra millimeter or two of wood on the battery box to keep the end flush with the main unit. A little thing that visually would feel so much nicer.

Also, air intake on Mi2 is a simple hole above the button; on the Mi3, the hole is centered in a relief RBT logo. Mi2 is taller/slimmer than Mi3. In terms of availability in walnut, an Mi2 is probably your best bet. Good luck!
