Yup, I've already realized why so many have multiple Dynavap's... so they can load a few and go hit them at once!
I've got a second one already and find if I load both, that's a decent single session.
Ya, true story. That's why I ended up with a Portside Mini instead, just too long a wait for me. Maybe when my turn does come up, I'll have the itch again, but this PS Mini seems like it'll work for my use just fine.
Any information about if the battery has been improved?
Those numbers about 4 or 5 bowls max were pretty underwhelming and not up to par imo. Even the PS Mini is about twice that if I understand correctly. I've only had my PS Mini working for one night, so haven't put that to the test.
Seems...
Perfect example of different strokes!
I have been holding off Dynavap and only jumped in because of IH's. I also despise driving a standard. Not because I can't, but because it doesn't thrill me at all and is just a pita aspect imo.
Haha, yes and no, but good point. I was more trying to be humorous than anything, but it doesn't feel far off.
If you want the best that Dynavap has to offer and the most convenient heating method in an IH, then it's gonna cost a fair bit no matter what direction you go.
So far I'm in for an...
"Get a dynavap M, its the best cheapest vape option there is", they say!
Followed by... you'll need a quality torch that'll probably give you issues if you dont also buy high quality expensive butane. Then youll need a titanium tip to replace your SS. Now you definitely need a nice dynastash...
Maybe I'm too worried about air leaks then. I usually try the pull test while plugged with my hand and if I don't have a total seal, I try something else until I do.
I have some glass wands and a second TI tip and cap on order to get around this as I wasn't overly interested in wood options in...
Interesting. I wonder what I'm doing wrong, because I get air leaks no matter what I do. That's with the titanium mouthpiece in the fat adapter. No issues at all with a regular silicone adapter.
I don't recommend the fat mouth piece as a primary water adapter personally. I've given up on mine already.
I haven't been able to get a good seal with it in any of my 4 water pieces all with 14mm joints. If I do get a decent seal, its so low I need tweezers to get it out again. Just my 2 cents...
My first ever Vapcap is set to arrive with Canada Post any moment here today, so I can't weigh in from experience, but the note below is on DDave's glass water wand page as a warning when ordering.
Ti Fitment Note: Recently, it's been discovered that there are two different Ti Tip Sizes.. One...
Really? That's interesting. I assumed it would close it off completely as an option and do plan on using it through water at least half the time.
Great to hear!!! This helps put me at ease.
Ya, I can't imagine it would be that bad for my use case and where I live. If anything the damn thing will be frozen in my hand half the year! So many seem to get by with the SS that I'm sure I'll be okay. Thanks for the feedback!
Well, you've given me some pause on my plan to go with SS stem and shave off the $50-60. It doesn't really get too hot up in the Yukon in Canada where I live and I'm always vaping at home, so not quite the factor for me as it is for you, but I would not be happy to have a stem that's...
