IMO not really. I guess the 18mm has a bit larger capacity so all things may last longer but otherwise I feel they are really similar in those areas. Others may disagree. The 18mm V2 allows for pod loading system (or just directly to the stem). Right now the only 14mm pod stems are in beta.

Mainly size and a bit of design difference. 14 is smaller than the 18. Both the unit and mouthpiece. You load the stem in the 18 while you load the atty in the 14. Both have kanthal coils installed which you should never have to change but you can if you want, including other coil...

I like the short mouthpiece as well. Over the years I have gravitated towards on demand convection and with that the vapor is on the harsher side. It used to bother me a little more but now I almost miss the harshness when using something different...It's weird!
