I have gotten mixed reports which is why it's not listed. Personally I have never had issue using these with any of the Custom splinter gear and even some of the standard Splinter Z gear but others have. If anyone wants to buy it and try it, I'll take it back if it doesn't work.

Yeah but you have your micro USB port and temp dial down there. Plus the screw that holds it together. You really have no room for tape and you don't want it near all that stuff.

I don't tighten it all the way. Not so much that I worry about it coming off but not so much that you have to rely on the slot and push down hard to unscrew it. This way it unscrews easily with little pressure needed.

It's likely the pin on the mod, not the splinter if this is happening with multiple splinter units. Test with a different mod.

The bottom scratches easier than I'd like, the battery door screw could be a pain (although I have figured out how to make it easier) and people complain about the LED light shining through the bottom (although it doesn't bother me). These are a few negatives off the top of my head. ;)

Nice pics.. I feel some may be concerned about that lighter ring around the outside but the dumped pic should hopefully reassure people it's not that big of a deal (especially if you collect AVB). To me it's not worth stirring for but to each their own.
