DaProfessor, I noticed in your signature that you own one of HiSi's U-Percs - I have long been a fan of this design and don't really see many people talking about. This type of design would work great in a HydraTube. How do you like yours? I have one of the dual U-Percs and I find that it has...
1 . The heating issue is in final testing, I am fairly comfortable saying it is resolved.
2. We will be putting up a "Distributors" page on our website shortly. We will be going through a selection process to pick a few distributors for the VXC in the next couple of months.
3...
1. We are looking into doing CE certification first, let me check in with PowerNerd on this one for the timing...
2. Would love to do a mega pack for sure but having trouble keeping the right quantities of SG and VG HydraTubes at the moment. Feel free to shoot me an email and I can try and...
Not sure if this is the first example but hookahs where you put the coal on top of the flavored tobacco can be looked at as a form of conductive vaporization.
@notmyrealUSERname - initially the VXC will only be offered as a package. Down the road, once we get a better handle on our supply chain, then we will offer it by itself.
as far as the Hoss Foggy Dew, is that what you are referring to?
If so, you would just stick the Cloud into the 18.8 or...
Pappy - Vaping is one of those things where everyone has their own little ritual and preferences for how they like to do things. I know that Iwien loves adding warm water into his bong to create a different type of vapor sensation, while others, like you, swear by ice. Some people think they...
Pappy - Good question and just like many things in life, there isn't one specific answer.
In regards to cleaning a glass piece that has a perc, I find that using something like Grunge Off or Simple Green would be your best bet. You simply fill the tube, let it sit overnight, and rinse in the...
AgentofChaos - ahhh that brings back SO MANY memories, my first "high end" glass piece and it purrrrrrrrrrrred.... enjoy that bad boy, it is PERFECT for vaping.
the VXR is still looking good! I will need to take it to the shop to examine it under the special light to see if the stress points have increased but with the naked eye, so far so good. Unfortunately, we lost track of how many bowls we vaped but with 8 people over, I think it is safe to say...
@Egzoset the Cloud will have a similar temp range to that of the SSV, we will dial down the high end so that you cannot combust though. We had a few incidents where the temp was turned up too high and combustion occurred and it was a pain in the butt to get it cleaned and all the burnt smells...
So we did about 10 more bowls and the VXR is still looking good :D With the UFC this weekend, I should have plenty of people to give the VXR a good durability run.
@stinkmeaner - I tried emailing you but it bounced back. Send me an email at support@vapexhale.com - Can't make any promises but I...
NoSmoke - You LOVE this game... I'll buy it just cause of your recommendation... Last nights UFC fights were pretty fun... you took me out with JDS, the only blemish of the night.... You win some, you lose some. I'll get the game tonite.
@stinkmeaner - you got a lot of good ideas! (no sarcasm) - I do know some people that are familiar with electroplating, I'll see what they have to say.
@eonblue - Stinkmeaner is correct, input from Sovereignty but built by us. For what it's worth we use the same borosilicate as Sovereignty...
@champ3185 - If you define performance by how big a vapor hit it can produce, then based on my limited experience with the Vaporstar (about 10x) - then the VXR will out perform it.
If you define performance by how fast it heats up, then the Vaporstar outperforms the VXR.
Another thing to...
@iamkrazy2 - it's coming, it's coming!
@Deepfried - I miss your Towlie avatar... I'm gonna need some back up to try and get to 540 heat cycles, I only added an addition 5 heat cycles yesterday...feel like such a slacker... ;)
I'm gonna try all the different suggestions to see if they help...
Thanks for all the suggestions guys, it is very much appreciated.
So quick update...
Re: Quartz - At first glance, quartz seems like the solution but quartz is about 7x more expensive than glass and infinitely harder to work with. Due to our design requirements, using quartz isn't a feasible...
