parchment paper is your best friend for handling oils, if it starts sticking to the paper, just put it in the freezer for a bit. i believe you could mix up your qwiso with some herb in a vape, as the concistency is just about that of kief. it may clog screens a bit quicker though.

i can achieve quite generous clouds with my 1/4" twig, but i believe it actually might have the 5w heating element of the 3/8" core, which could be the reason for that

does your qwiso look like this when scraped up? this is the type of consistency i get when i do not use heat to purge, or if i use too high of heat when purging. great for bowl topping, but hard to dab.

don't freeze the alcohol unless you want an almost kief like consistency. but by all means prefreeze the jar and nugs

i tend to just shake fairly vigorously, but be warned if you shake too hard the nuggets can break apart releasing more chlorophyll, tannins, plant matter etc. into your product. swirling actually might be a better idea.

dberms got you covered haze, also about the filter over the jar, it takes FOREVER for the alcohol to seep through it if you don't use something to push it through like dberm mentioned. that would increase your soak time to well over a couple minutes, extracting much more unwanted contaminants.

nothern lights is an excellent strain and one of the first stable hybrids of sativa and indica! while i actually have never vaped this strain, it is an awesome smoke, and i hope to get my hands on some of this again in the future, its been awhile since i've had any.

i dont think ISO or BHO is any more potent than the other, it all depends on the starting material used, its not like one solvent is going to magically make the actives extracted more potent. that being said, i agree that BHO has a different high to it, but i attribute this to less plant matter...

butane is dangerous when not handled properly, no doubt about that, but for runs less than an oz, you really dont have much to worry about as long as you stay away from flames/possible sparks. make sure there is no liquid butane left on your pyrex before you move indoors and you are golden...

if you are going to be making hash oil from nuggets, don't waste your time with qwiso, go straight to BHO. its really not as dangerous as people make it out to be, granted you have the brain capacity of a normal human being :lol: the end product is much purer, and the yield will be a lot...
