Past couple of nights I've been using the FF 18mm/double D Dave with an elbow screen as bowl screen with the other elbow screen in the elbow. Like an box. Does well enough for me. I may get some black shrink wrap and do the top of the bowl and see how that works.
Arizer really needs to redo...
CBD only products can be found loads of places such as eBay or the Internet itself. I've not tried any of the high CBD hemp products yet, but have some legal Tincture coming in the mail. We'll see how it compares to what I currently have. I have a feeling what I get from the MMJ dispensary...
Thanks for your expertise. I've now found it works best to let the Q heat up and then just start the fan with the elbow in place to heat it up a bit. I've actually stopped doing the stirrer thing I spoke of.
Am I the only one who uses temps around 460F?
That looks good to me. I hope yours doesn't grab the elbow screen(s) like mine did. Don't worry, I bought a different one from a different seller. Cheaper, but no work-ee.
Kind of off the current topic, but I've found another use for the glass stirrer. I put it in the end of the whip mouthpiece to speed up the heating time (I use fan speed 1). It is a different, but still a good vape when heated up. It cooks well, just not as much as some others with the heater...
Hey NC:
Yes, the screen is an inch...also the size of a quarter. Dollar that is. Hope I can find an adapter that works and is under $12 or take away material somewhere...
I'm in CO and can sometimes get High CDB no / low THC flower and oil and it's been a godsend. My condition and other medication really screw up a nights sleep. Not to mention my Neuropathic pain.
That is until I researched Cannabis. Now I sleep like two decades ago and my feet feel like I'm...
Well I did try six (6) different elbow screens, but I do remember how some tightened up their screens and I have another way using a thick dowel to open up the screen to fit better. I'll see...
You know, from the picture in the listing, that looks like what I have, just a bit more costly...
Yes, it was the second thing I tried. I may make and try one of those paper clip springs that I read about somebody here doing (for what, I can't remember) to push up on the elbow screen so it will come out with the whip elbow when removed. It's gonna cost almost as much to ship the damn...
I received this 18mm X 2 F/F adapter:

Guess it's not what DDave was recommending, as it grabs all six of my elbow screens upon removal. It does cut the time down and gives a much fuller cloud of vapor, but...
Almost bought one, but 7th Flr won't honor warranty's from eBay sellers so Arizer got my money. I do like a load of the features on the Q. Many are using a DBV wand with the Q.
Thanks, I have to admit that at times, I wasn't as patient to let the mass of glass heat up. I've started given more time, but the $30 bucker was so fast. I find a light puffer to be the best until the end and then I sometimes try to suck the Q's guts out. No, no extension cord or anything...
Read most of this thread up to last year. Have had the Q for a month now and it's different than the cheap $30 eBay vape I originally bought. I've ordered a F/F adapter and have some of the larger screens from it to use on the adapter. I hope it proves to work a bit better than stock. I've...
