From my understanding RUVAPED does not have the best record. Dabbler is made by a pretty reputable company in the vaporizer market. I can't give you a direct comparison. I dont know how the RUVAPED kit hits, I don't have it. Dabbler is a good choice though. Any specific questions?

I think it's part of the instructions to do a 10 second burn off. I could be wrong though. It's good to check if your coil works in any case. This thing isn't nearly as sensitive as something like the omicron carts.

Aahaa! That's the kind of thing I was looking for @JoeKickass ! As for my technique. I usually take two very long hits then I'm done for a while. Preheat for just a second and then inhale for 7-9 seconds. Usually get a huge cloud and a very relaxing night.

I beleive the dabbler is designed so that pulsing isn't neccesary. The dabbler is supposed to keep the heat of the coil in the ideal range.

Does anybody have some tips with loading crumbles? I just got my first crumble. I usually have at least a slight wax consistency with my concentrates. The dabber tool I use is the highly educated ball tipped one. Which isn't very helpful with this stuff. How do I get all the fine particulates?

From my understanding the foil test is used to also test the amount of plant matter in the wax. Lipids and stuff that will not vape cleanly. This is my understanding at least. So I think it would be applicable for co2 as well. Green color indicates some level of plant matter left in the wax...
