What's the bowl capacity? How does capacity compare to the Vivant Go mentioned in the post? I'm familiar with the Go...
"It takes almost 3 Scoop-N-Tamp Vape Tool" - so my guess is not too big, which is a plus for my needs.
I've had good luck with Yocan products, the Uni Pro oil pen battery...
The convection oven can cause the material to combust when the hit is too hard and too long. To avoid this, medium length, and gentle inhale works best.
- I use only with a medium size clear glass bong through water. I'm not interested in using it natively, the vapor is too hot for me. I'm...
I use the Go for microdosing and it's my only vaporizer that is currently in rotation, and I use it through water only.
When consuming just a pinch (I don't have a scale) medium grind works well. There's no need to pack, since it will end up clumped to the screen anyway, for very small amount...
I'll second the Vivant Go. I have two of them and it's my only vaporizer currently in use! I no longer smoke/combust btw.
If you have a water pipe, I highly recommend it. A WPA isn't needed. Note that it has a small bowl, and it is best at microdosing. I usually consume just a pinch at a...
It is mentioned on the 420Vapezone review, and also here, that tightly packing the flower can produce combustion, so should be avoided. Even with the smallest amount of flower, I still tamp down lightly.
In my experience, with very small loads, the entire contents gets sucked out of the...
Code 420vapezone was still valid as of Tuesday when I ordered my second Go. I also wanted to help Troy, even in this small way.
I use the Go as my primary vaporizer, and don't use it as a portable, and have no plans or need to. For my needs it could be called the Stay :). A better name would...
Some updates on my Go after a month of use!
- I posted a few days ago that the Go was unable to switch between heat modes. It is working now after a second charging cycle. Next time it happens (hope it won't) I'll make a video.
-Ddave's screen fell out (bad install on my part likely). I went...
Thanks and I'm aware of the documentation is insufficient for this function. Two clicks are needed to get to the point to change power mode.
It must not have been clear when I wrote: "With the unit on, double click, double click, and stays green"
There's a problem with either the hardware or...
The only malfunction is switching between heat settings. The 5 clicks (on/off) still works flawlessly. Session mode also works - 3 clicks, but I only tried that once.
My guess is there's a problem with the circuit board. As long as it doesn't get worse, that's fine.
My Go will no longer switch between heat modes as of yesterday. With the unit on, double click, double click, and stays green. I was able to reset it once by holding down the button for 10 + seconds, but now again will no longer switch between heat settings.
I'll be sending an email to Vivant...
I don't have a Bic pen handy and am not aware that it has a hole at the end. I included the photo to show where the Vivant may have gotten the design idea.
Yes, even at the lowest of the three temps. But don't take my word for it. I may be more sensitive than others to breathing in hot, dry vapor.
Using a small water pipe I'm 100% satisfied with the Go, for at home use.
BTW, the Go uses a Bic Pen design. The metal cap is like the removable part...
That's the irony of the Go. It's marketed as a portable, but IMHO fails at this. The short vapor path results in hot vapor when used without a bubbler or water pipe. I tried a pinch last night, with the silicon mouthpiece, no water, and it wasn't a pleasant experience.
I had a small glass...
I consider the Go to be a great convection microdoser that happens to have a very low price. It's the only vaporizer that I use these days. I wouldn't characterize it as a "beginner vape" but does fit the price point for that category. I'm still in the market for a backup device but I've been...
I'm sorry to hear that those images are lost. The cost to FC of hosting years of images would be significant, and would require some expertise to implement it correctly. I can understand why they don't.
To be clear, I am enjoying the Go immensely, maybe a little too much .
Now I have to resist getting a Grasshopper, which I learned about in this thread.
There's no change in taste that I can detect. Also, with this vape stirring at the end of the session hasn't made any difference, as in results in no additional puffs, which is unexpected. BUT this is 100% through a water pipe.
The Go does a good job of vaporizing the herb. How efficient it is...
