The white powder is from how I have been wrapping it. It's Cellulose fiber. A quick polish with the cloth included should cure that. Additionally, there is no reason to take that tone if you want to have a civil conversation.

There are Quartz nails that have a coil wrap around them so clearly it's possible. The threading is going to be the money maker (or what drives up the cost). You can find Quartz with threading on it. However, if you go there; why not have a Sapphire base? The same could be said for SiC.

Wouldn't quartz be less of a pure flavor than SiC? That's at least what I know from experience is Quartz is the bottom, SiC is the mid-tier and Sapphire is the top tier.

How do you clean it?

I've dropped my D-Nail SiC (plugged in and hot) on the carpet a few times, and the easiest way to clean it is just like MikeRotchHertz says, torch it! But do it outside because the off-gas from what melted may be hazardous to your health. It goes pretty quick, but it stinks a lot.

That limits you highly because what most companies produce is a very high yield strain. For example, Durban Poison isn't what I see in Hash Rosin but Flower Rosin I get 20% and makes fantastic edibles.
