I just got the email myself. Thats really disappointing. It seemed like most of the drops were doing fine so I have to believe that this is liability or legally based. I was really hoping to invest in a Volcano but was not able to afford one at this time. I figured I would get one later this...
Love the flow of idea here. I am one of those who found the cans tricky at first but once I figured out the pack, its now 2nd nature. I dont over dry my herb either.
Hey, Micke. Im right there with you on the insomnia thing. Iv'e heard a lot of people say vaping before bed keeps them awake but for me, a nice vape session with a good indica has been a god send. I really need to get me some quality grain alcohol and start taking advantage of reclaim.
Vitolo, I am so sorry to hear of your problems. You have been an inspiration to so many. I, myself, have helped provide vapes for a few people in need, in part because of hearing about the work you do and I am sure many here have done the same. You may have hit a roadblock in your quest to do...
Hey Scott, I know theres a moratorium on info regarding the V3. Still I do have a pertinent question. I am considering getting some new cans. Am I safe in assuming that the can will be fully compatible with the V3? I figured thats probably not something Haze intends to change but I wanted to...
Dude, youre like that little kid in the car who keeps asking "are we there yet?" Let poor Scott get a few days in at work before you start quizzing him. I figure Tuesday or Wednesday should be good.
Well a little bit of record keeping has shown that the shut off issue with my Haze may be overheat protection. It only happens when Im on the top heat and only when I have been on an extended session where I start on 3 and then kick it up to 4.
I had my Haze shut down mid session, right after I put in a freshly recharged battery. I was finishing off a can at level 4 heat so its possible that the heat may be an issue. Im going to try to keep track of heat settings when my Haze shuts down to see if theres a consistent pattern. I think...
I actually vape to help with my insomnia. Its about the only thing Ive found that works. Every nite I vape a full Haze bowl through to the highest temp. I sleep much better since I started doing that. I also vape for pain so I tend to utilize indica dominate hybrids or straight indica and...
Hmmm, this has happened to me as well recently. The first few times I just assumed I spaced out and enough time had lapsed that it shut off automatically but after a few instances I started paying better attention and it has shut off prematurely on several occasions. I havent worried too much...
Awesome, thanks for the info guys! In hind sight, I may just buy one of each and gift one to a friend after Ive tried them out personally. My best bud has a birthday coming up and he would be thrilled with a high end grinder.
Ah, I misunderstood you. Sounds like you do have an issue with the door. If I were in your shoes and the unit was still functional I would just use the Haze until the upgrade program kicks in and wait for the V3. Of course if the door issue does affect function, then I would be sending it...
Ive done a bit of research onto grinders and narrowed my choices down to the Space Case and the Mendo Mulcher. I steered away from the Santa Clara because issues with sticking seem to be ubiquitous. I checked Massdrop and they are voting on a space case for another drop but nothing current...
Im betting you have a problem. One common complaint about the Haze is that the oven door is too tight and difficult to open and close. If your door is loose, that is not normal.
For those having difficulty opening the oven door, there is a method that is slightly un-intuitive but works...
If you look through the thread, there are pictures of the ss cans and alloy cans side by side. The visual difference between the two is fairly clear. Also, the ss cans are made of stronger stuff. You can not easily bend the tab on the ss cans but you can on the alloy cans. Im pretty sure Haze...
You might want to check out the Haze thread and see if that would work for you. Its a pretty popular vape right now. Very effective, with a unique 2 bowl system and its less expensive than the Crafty or Mighty vapes. It lists for $249 but can be found for around $180 - $200
Totally understandable Scott! Moves are time consuming beasts.
I clean my Haze regularly, probably 2-3 times a week. I vape mostly herb but have occasionally done a herb/oil combo vape. The problem is resin gets under the plastic where the switch slides to determines which bowl youre...
