i am in love ... this baby rocks ... i'm two stems in and feeling good! definitely a little technique involved (using my sticky brick junior probably gave me a headstart on technique) but i haven't come close to combusting yet and the avb has been even (with stirring between every couple hits)...

the true color is probably somewhere in between the two ... man this thing is awesome ... on my second bowl and i'm really digging it! happy happy happy!

if you water cure your abv first it takes care of most of the taste ... and prevents abv farts that smell just like weed ... true story

i say grab a torch and go at it (that's what i did lol)! for some reason the tip of the M (opposite end of the mouthpiece) didn't color no matter how long i torched it ... not sure why but actually it worked out well since i use the spinning titanium mouthpiece all the silver at one end makes it...

ss does work although color/temp may vary ... here is my "M" that i heated ...

thanks baron ... that all makes sense ... i guess i could see vaping at a low tempertures to get more flavor and then hotter temps for full effects ... but i agree that trying to fine tune to get specific cannabinoids, etc just isn't realistic.

do you do any type of temp stepping or do you just vape at a high enough temp to get all the goods on the first round? i only have one battery powered vape (PotV) Starry and i sometimes temp step with it but i really don't know if i am accomplishing much ... sorry this is a little off topic...

an update on the oven crack issue ... as i figured i'm out of luck and quite possibly could have been out of luck even if it would have been the starry purchased from PotV. Here's the response from PotV (i am in no way upset or anything that they couldn't help ... i didn't think they would be...
