If kanthal does not work in TC, and you dont have a good reason for using it - i would not use it! Other 510 attys dont need custom firmware to use TC. All the smoant, dna, joytech, wismec mods will work with stempod & splinter out of the box. Temp reading may not be exact, but will be consistant.
