well, i must say that the UD smells much stronger than the MFLB. however, keeping exhaled vapor to a minimum and using a sploof would probably suffice in masking the smell, especially in conjunction with the aroma cup. it is very conservative, though it does make it tempting to keep toking...

bubble hash can be simply ground up(if not already powder) and inserted into whatever vape you are using. if it is full melt, you can actually dab it with your BHO utensils.

i would say stick to dry sift or bubblebags. Butane is actually not especially harmful for human consumption, and when considering the amount left in properly purged oil, if any, is miniscule. I have experienced headaches from vaping terribly underpurged budder made with shitty tane, but aside...

once the terpenes evaporate, there is no way to put it back into your oil. once you can smell them in the air, they are gone. if your intent is to preserve more of the volatile terpenes, then purging with little to no heat is your only choice. the best way to do this would be to use ethanol...

damn sorry to hear that bouldarado, you might want to invest in a hose clamp, should only be a few bucks at your local hardware store, and it gives me more peace of mind than using some other means to fix the screen/filter in place.

hey SF, thanks for the kind words, i double boil my oil until all of the large bubbles have popped, accelerating the process by razing with my torch. i then oven purge my errl for about 5-10 minutes depending on the batch at 170F, then put it back on the hot water for around 10-20 more minutes...

nah, alcohol is much less flammable than butane, at cold temps the alcohol will remain a liquid, but butane will evaporate into combustible fumes super easily, but even then you would literally need a plate of liquid butane in your freezer for it to be any kind of danger.

anything with methanol is a no go, the possible blindness is enough to stear me away from using it for anything that i might be inhaling from later, including cleaning pieces.

did you even read the thread? the concentrate appeared to be stable as heck, so stable that it was hard to get out of its plastic container, which also meant direct heat was a no no. i agree that a lot of the concentrates in clubs are shoddy at best though, they're purely for profit, not so...
