For me it seals visibly. Door does not appear ajar. But I get nothing, so there is a breach of path somewhere.

There are a few too many silicone gaskets imo, and they'll require attention at least once/week. The airpath intake will always be a bit less than perfect because of difficulty accessing it. Most of it is much easier. I think they've got a reasonably descriptive Youtube on it.
