I can’t determine from this whether you think this is an actual possibility or not. Should we be replacing the bearings after all?

Question for @OMD: if the OG as shipped can’t be immersed in ISO for cleaning, what are your recommendations for cleaning? Do you recommend switching to a ceramic bearing for this reason? The other two “upgrades” seem unnecessary to me.

I have an OG OM and it’s become my go to grinder. The spin is fun and also a great indication of when the herb is fully ground. I have had no need for alternate bearings, removable magnets, bearing pullers or anything of the sort. All of that is just the Futzmonkey asserting itself.

Not true everywhere, actually; some of the vendors like Arete, WNC, and Wildflower are charging about the same amount for an eighth (admittedly pre-taxes) as some dispensary weed in MA, even more in some cases. Hoku has the most consistently low prices I've seen for type 1, 2, and 3 hemp.

I’ve got 022 FE and I’d just like to say I am completely satisfied with the grinder as is. The weight feels solid in hand, love the spinning, produces a consistent fluffy grind. I have no need to change my bearings or modify anything. Great job, @OMD.
