Yeah haha. I feel like if I'm tasting something, that means I'm inhaling it. It could be totally safe, but I personally couldn't find enough clear information on the subject to feel comfortable using one long term. Especially with all the other options available.
I just managed to dump about 80% of my rubies on the floor while doing a head change. Pretty sweet.
Think I managed to recover most of them, just wondering what the best way to clean them is?
I was thinking iso in a shot glass, swirl them around and then dump into a mesh colander and rinse?
Ahh okay, cool. Any perceptible difference in flavor when the mesh screen is on vs not?
E: The ceramic Tiodw has shown me that a ceramic baller is worth having, and now I'll be buying one of these nicer ones.
The ceramic Tiodw I just received has a mesh screen on the bottom as well. I have a feeling It's difficult to make a thin screen/disk out of ceramic without having it crack. The top cap on my Tiodw, where the thinnest material is, came with small cracks on the underside. They're sending me a...
I think the shape would cause random/inconsistent air resistance that would fluctuate anytime you shook the baller head. Not sure if it would be ideal. I was thinking about the ruby balls with the holes through them, for the increased surface area. But I think it would cause a similar issue.
Question for those with the polished SS BCG. How's the finish holding up? Would love to see a video of one in action.
E: Apparently the large SS version is coming soon btw.
Thanks. Yeah his initial design was basically an exact clone of the TAG piece lol. But he got some "encouragement" from the community to make it more unique.
Spent the passed week getting to know the FC-199 from SAML/Popularglass and I wanted to share my personal thoughts in case anyone is considering it.
I can only speak to the one I received, so I'm not aware of any variances between them.
First impressions when I unboxed it were mixed.
Some...
It's time for me to step-up my Dynvap situation. My newest tip is a SS 2019 M with a non captive, low temp, cap. I have a regular temp cap as well.
I want to either purchase the newest tip (With the M+ body I guess) or the armored cap. I use my Dyna tips purely with a 14mm glass stem/WPA through...
Large BCG with coarse and medium plates ordered, full quality cause it wasn't that much more than the factory 2nd's. Now to wait, and possibly find a second job...
Thanks, everyone!
