I think they may have had a bad batch of chargers. Mine started failing within a month, I only got a session or two from my battery, now it's trashed too. This was purchased last Oct. Worst part is, it was such an easy fix once we figured it out.

No, it's a very early Mi and a follow up. I don't think either are deep. Unfortunately the spec's have been inconsistent, maybe not the full depth, but not fully deep either.

I'm pretty sure both of my Mi's are 19mm depth? They get used more than enough, but are set up with semi-permanent glass and I really don't remember, but..... 19mm would be safe and work with end caps, just saying.
