    Rift by Vivant

Anyone else had the opportunity to try the Rift? It'll be intriguing to see what other bowl designs Vivant offers, any word on that?

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

This^, I'm definitely not here to gloat, and although I lurk this thread quite a lot, I rarely post as I have little to report except to say that my early Hopper (004XXX) is still going strong. I've never even registered it (yet). I'm not attempting to defend HL , the Hopper or say anything...

:2c: All @Jun84m 'needs' is a VonG stem , which she can use with her XL condenser and mouthpiece to assemble a VonG XLS (extra long VonG with spinning mouthpiece). If she does want rid of the mouthpiece, then she'll need a regular condenser as well as the VonG stem, as you describe. The other...

    The Nomad From Morwood

Nice to know @duff . Just for clarity, by "fits" you refer to 'user holds in place', as opposed to 'GonG style self supporting joint', yeah? I must confess that I doubt I'll be employing a bubbler often myself, so the former would be fine. I thought I'd be using my Mi through water, but I found...

    The Nomad From Morwood

The 18 and 14mm sizes you mention refer to the tapered end of the glass stem, which doesn't fit in the Nomad because the Nomad doesn't have a tapered fitting like Milaana/MVT/etc etc. Any stem to be used in the Nomad will have to be a straight tube with parallel sides/outside diameter(size...

You sure as shit have PP! Here's to the next two (or 10!) That's a very nice stem my-man, congrat's. Is it lined? I've been making myself some stems, and can't quite decide if I prefer SS lined, or plain wood. Lined is definitely easier to clean, but there's something about the taste...

    iHeat 510 Heater Cartridge

Welcome @KingSol  Solid advice re' TC/Watts  Like you I prefer instant vapour, so if I were ever to get an iHeat I'd likely have similar settings to you. I'm still waiting for a side-by-side TC single battery mod (maybe a 21700 or similar) that is better looking than the Witcher...

VapCap Induction Heater for Desktop and in Car Use

That is @rz. I don't thinkv he's shelved the project, but he's got a recent addition to his family which I imagine has occupied LOTS of his time. This is the thread: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-auto-magic-super-rztoaster-or-something-like-that.24154/ I hope the rztoaster is still on...

Maybe one of the glass inserts that Pipes uses in his IH would fit inside? It wouldn't matter if it were too long, but the diameter would have to be small enough to fit in. What's the id of the plastic top hat?

Thanks for the in depth, and thorough review and thoughts on your first run Nomad @KeroZen, I greatly appreciate this level of insight to your thoughts (except for that West-world cliff-hanger you :goon:). I was very surprised to read @CL52613s reaction to your critique, as I did not feel...

    The Nomad From Morwood

Thats a DICK MOVE KZ, AND YOU KNOW IT! smh :nope: BTW, I thought that Dan had already addressed the failure mode you imagine by making the battery hole in the brass plate fractionally bigger than the hole in the wood that it partners, thereby ensuring the battery can't be in contact with the...

Paying it Forward - A New Direction

What a terrible accident Vito, and an awful situation. Thanks for the heads-up. I have made a small donation, and am making a one-off VapCap stash to auction off (proceeds to Jades Gofundme). It's a work in progress, but I will post here soon when I have finished it and started an appropriate...

    The Nomad From Morwood

LOL! (not laughing at your medical misfortune) dude , that's some endorsement . I wonder if Argo stems are the same size as Nomad (not that I think the glass screen would have great advantages over a conventional one). Like CL52613 I too pounce on any posts here to see if they are...

    The Nomad From Morwood

I feel that I'd like to be able to fit all 18650s Dan. But if it turns out that more folk want the snug fit then I'll happily defer to your advice. In fact, if the looser fit would demand a complete re-jig, or impact the overall dimensions, or increase your workload, then I'd prefer to stick...

Phew! :o I'm glad the 14mm adapter works with the rings! Airtight? I feared that the fit might be problematic since I didn't have the same HGL adapter available to do any test fitting. Does it get narrower than 10mm internally? I suppose it must if it's bottoming out on something.
