Since you're a Canadian, support your fellow countrymen and buy the HA(herbalaire). It has high durability, efficient extraction, and multi-functionality. It was my first home unit as well.
Log vapes can be left on for extended periods of time(thus eliminating long heat up). They can also be placed somewhere so it will look like a decorative object.
To be honest, I love all of the vapes I do/did own. They all have their positive and negative attributes and each has it's place. My friend says they're like Pokemon; I'm inclined to agree. :haw:
I recommend you to use a "cigar puff" inhale technique with the transfer wand. It gives your load a "pulse-heating" as opposed to a constant heat. Once I started doing this I got massive hits and when I was done the ABV was perfectly toasted.
Might want to read up on the vapman. It uses small amounts. You can hit it once/twice then be on your way. It is flame powered but I don't consider that a drawback.
This is an older unit so I don't have the cone like Roger D does. It's just something I came up with while vaked.
Silicone ring is two 3/8ths inch tubing pieces cut into 1/4 inch tall "strips". One is placed on the outside of the other. These then go onto the outermost ring on the minivap...
Made an almost glass on glass connection for the MiniVap. Just used two small pieces of silicone and an expander(14mm female to 18mm male). It stays snug on the mini and now I don't have to mess with any tubing.
This may perhaps be the only one. I have seen other helix bubblers similar to, but not exactly like this one.
It uses a very small amount of water though, so very little, if any flavor is lost. A dewar seal simply means the joint is recessed into the piece instead of sticking outward.
Got it earlier yesterday but didn't have a chance to use it. I'll try to get a decent vid of it soon. At the very beginning of the pull, there is an ever so slight resistance, but aside from that, it's a drag free piece.
Hadn't mentioned anything about it but this was non-functional upon arrival.
So after a talk with the seller and a little shipping back and forth I now have a working one in my hands. :buzz:
The entire piece will white out because of the bubbles. :o
Every hit has been super smooth and while...
