I've pressed small-ish nugs at 3 days... you just need to wrap it up in some sort of filter, the wetter the material is the more it likes to spread during the actual hot squishing bit.

You probably got little bits of material around the rim of the stem.

Danker weed = more terpenes and cannabinoids to vaporize = more vapor! Also yes, curing and water content in cannabis, more water = more energy needed to vaporize it before it can start vaporizing the goodies. If it's not cured right you can even kind of taste/sense it in the first few hits!

You only need to make one screen like that, and then you can sit it flat side down and it will sit on the ledge of glass.

Heh, I too use heavy wire, some 20 gauge A1 kanthal. Seems to work a little better than the bent paper clip I was using. As for ISO washing it out, I find it too cumbersome and time-consuming to do usually, so what I do is have a designated bottle of it and just wash and pour back into it...

I'd do the water level in the middle of the lower half of the fab... In between where the hole is there and where it meets the bottom of it/top of where the perc is. Maybe just up to the top of the perc and not any farther... I don't really see how it could splash up through the downstem and up...

Yeah, what I meant was I'm not sure what the ratio of plant wax to actual essential oils is with rosin. I've seen somebody in the rosin thread do mechanical dewaxing and it pulled some out... I'm also sure there are a fair amount of people in the EJmix/Magic Puff thread that aren't using dewaxed...

Too much plant matter, if you want you can get some strong ethanol like Everclear or vodka that is just high proof ethanol and NO additives or anything else. Quick wash ethanol to get the essentials out, and strain to get the particulates out, then evaporate and mix with some EJ. Another way...
