THIS! I can't believe I left that out of the equation! Check out www.crazedlist.org. You can search the entire west coast, for example. There are always a few Vapor Brothers or Da Buddhas.
Chinese vaporizers can be extremely unreliable. If you want a cheap vape, check out the VaporGenie for $55 or the Launch Box (which is AWESOME) for $77 (with a coupon from these forums).
Are these within your price range? They are made of safe materials and are excellent vaporizers.
EDIT: Have...
People have said that the LB does not vaporize hash very well. I find that hard to believe since the screen can hold back something as small as dust... you just need to break the hash up and you are good to go!
On concentrates: You could just soak it in some bud. You do need a medium for it.
Heat probably goes over the herb more evenly, as heat rises. Not worth the hastle of having it designed like that though, imo.
Simple stirring solves the issue in the DBV.
Have you tried to draw much slower? Hard to believe that they can not be as dark as a whip vape when I am able to get herbs charred in my Launch Box, to the point that tar is visible on the screen.

I've looked into the forums and have seen that the claim is unsubstantiated. I have edited my post so that I do not mislead anyone else. In fact, I've found out that the copper used in brass actually kills e. coli, so there may even be a health benefit from the use of brass! :brow:

You've made some great improvements and innovations to the basic design. Let's not forget our roots though and laugh when others mimic certain traits, as you had done when you first modified your own Aromazap and built another vaporizer upon similar principles.
Distinguishing burning matter from vapor is very easy to do since they both taste radically different. If you have ever smoked cannabis before, you should be able to pick out vapor from burning plant matter.
Vapor has a more subtle taste, kind of a dusty sweet taste. It also tastes a lot like...
