Thats what I did until last weekend when I finally got a used thermo. I was pretty much right on the money tho going by taste and performance so I wouldn't doubt you are far off either. I have seen the carb cap tip mentioned on here before and also noticed it long ago when accidently leaving...
Are you 585 on the dial? He said 760 on the dial which is probably about 630-660 on the dish but really can vary from unit to unit even with similar setups. I run 645ish on the dial which is really only 530 when checked by a thermo. I think @Gigsabits53 had the right idea getting a thermo next...
Edit: I come here for good information and to leave some when/where I can. I am not here to argue about the best method of dabbing or who's pedastool is taller. All apologies if my post got your head stuck up your ass @Vape Donkey 650 Hopefully, in the future you can learn to take my posts with...
Many of us are dabbing on silicon carbide surfaces at around 515F right now. You get a much more effective hit from an enail and for several reasons but the two biggest factors are the heater surface area for your concentrates is increased and the heater is already at temp. This makes a huge...
It should work right out of the box. Temp should be well calibrated to the coil, however keep in mind that the coil temp does not reflect the actual dish or dab surface temperature. Sometimes you have to set the coil temp much higher. For instance my RDK-200 is set to 645, however my dab surface...
No. Often it is more pull and snap once it has cooled but I have this one Sour Diesel Rosin right now that I can barely get on the dabber because it is so viscous. It might actually be able to be pulled up by a syringe but I dont have one to try currently.
I typically qtip clean the cup once it gets low enough because it degrades in taste by that point. I have tried cleaning it by holding the button down forever but not by turning the watts up. I dont like changing the settings on my battery really so I just vape until I cant stand the vapor...
Not sure how you could burn it up...it seems pretty durable and there should be nothing other than Tungsten and ceramic. I have put a tiny chip in the top lip of the cup and all seems to work fine. My cup is stained pretty bad so if you do buy these I would love to buy one of the extras off of...
This part actually peaks my interest more then the Trinity carts...
bubblemanbrand@dabslive714 we will be teaching people how to make their own terpy Solventless oil with hash rosin, or flower rosin, and blue river Terpenes at home. In California, you will be able to access these tanks...
Someone should mention to RBT that he should put it on his list to add rough exotic caps down the road that the reciever could finish sand to fit their Zion. I would buy one as a replacement cap just for kicks if it was not too much cost.
It most definetly is. If someone wants me to email pictures of my setup so they can post for me I would gladly send them...just shoot me a PM.
Settings are run in TC Ni mode at 30Watts and 330 degrees. The coil reads .58 ohms if I recall correctly.
I have been back to my DT V3 atty with the Source Terra 2 crucible for the past week or two while waiting for the Source Orb XXL quartz nails that I ordered June 30th. They still have not come in and I keep killing(not literally, but their killing the flavor by leaking internally) my Puffco Plus...
Can anyone recomend a link to a cheap dabber that fits in place of the forked dabber? I like the forked dabber and use it regularly but I prefer keeping the carb cap and dabber seperate. I have been using a qtip but I want something a little more rigid and that doesnt have cotton fibres all over it.
A very good setup indeed. While were on the dnail carb cap, can anyone recomend a link to a cheap dabber that fits in place of the forked dabber? I like keeping the carb cap and dabber seperate.
I received this in Sunday and found my Dnail SiC Halo to be running around 530F when my Auber RDK200 shows a coil temp reading of 645 using an Auberins flat coil. I was adjusting to a sweet spot by taste and performance prior to receiving this Thermo and had been down to 615 on the coil temp...
But not impossible. I bought this one cause I like orange...hopefully the K type thermocouple is the correct one.

It is the same as verified by this post
Another thing most dont realize but the Dnail carb cap brings the Dnail sic to another level IMO. The carb cab has a lip on it that allows the carb cap to sit...
