I think if the material is fully extracted at the end of the heat cycle, then maybe the seeming lack of heat retention is just very quick extraction. I would only be concerned if I was routinely needing to apply more heat to finish the bowl. It doesn't seem suitable to a casual joint puff style...

I'm always asking myself this question because I always keep a very trim rotation. My perfect 3 I own. However they are subject to change in the future. The current 3 are ZX, Tempest, coiled 18mm QC. Desktop on demand ZX, desktop session + hash QC, portable Tempest. All have great flavour.

I'm not sure why people get so defensive with me. I can't wait to pick one up. I was just answering the post above me. As I said, I won't know about the atomisation until I try it. But it doesn't matter because I would love a big Anvil regardless. Not sure how people see this as a negative attack.
