LOL. Fair enough.
Let's just say that the Lotus won't break for mysterious and out-of-one's-control reasons. And the cost of a new hot plate replacement kit is only $15. :)
The Lotus will never break. The same can't be said for the EVO. ;)
Edited to add: my power just went out. I'm SO HAPPY I bought a Lotus. Toking in the dark by the light of my dying iphone. :)
I haven't noticed any smell or offgassing from my cap...I have the black one.
One thing I've realized over the past couple days is that the part of the instructions that says "less is more" is dead correct. It is MUCH easier to combust with a full bowl. I've cut my bowls down to half and get...
Cut the guy some slack! lol. He's making continual enhancements to his new and popular product while attempting to establish a better web presence and make videos...I'm sure he's up to his eyeballs. Your comment wasn't phrased as a question, so it would be easy to miss as far as something...
I combusted during my second session, when I decided to push the hell out of it and fill up my inline bub with as much milky vapor as possible. Well, I got overexcited and ended up with a wee bit of smoke in the mix, and a black spot in the middle of the bowl. It was a good lesson because I've...
I can smell my Pinnacle Pro when it's ready to hit. That's how I know it's reached temp. I find it far less smelly than the Pax, which tended to reek for the entire session...and at the end it would start to smell terrible.
I used the PnP in Home Depot, hidden in my sleeve, and as far as I...
Sometimes. :) I have no idea if there is a scientific basis for this observation or not, but it seems like the WA is more likely to stay attached to the vapor cap when it's not hot. Once I've taken a few hits, it's much less likely that the magnet will support me actually lifting the WPA with...
I'm still absolutely in love with my Lotus and it's become my daily driver at home (I use the Pinnacle Pro "on the road"). The only downside I've encountered so far is the fact that my wife says the Lotus smells more strongly than my other vapes. :( Which has gotten me banned from using it...
I smoked for ten years and enjoyed the routine very much. That's definitely something I like about the Lotus. To me, going back to a flame is not a bad thing at all as long as it's easy to produce vapor instead of smoke. When vaping is a more "active" experience, I think my consumption goes down...
LOL. Sorry! (You'll thank me later, though, I think!)
The fact that the Lotus doesn't depend on batteries or electricity is a big reason that I say it would be my one and only. I use my Solo and my Pinnacle Pro a lot, but I'm constantly worrying about battery life. Not necessarily because they...

Sure wish I'd joined earlier. 24 hours later and I've decided that the Lotus is my favorite overall portable vape. There are other vapes that may excel in areas the Lotus lacks (like stealth), but if I had to choose only one vaporizer to have for the rest of my life, it would be the Lotus.
I picked up the GBD Inline Bub from the Classifieds, and I have to say, I absolutely love it. It's a bit bigger than I realized, but that translates into nice, big hits. It actually pairs great with my Illadelph hot hit slide for insanely giant wax hits, and my brand-new Lotus fogs it up...
I finally received my Lotus today and I am a True Believer. This thing is amazing! It milks my glass like no other vape I own. The taste is awesome! More later, because I need to get back to it. :luv:
Edited to add: Why the hell didn't I buy this thing sooner?!?
